I've been watching Fire Force Season 3. Need to get back to Frieren.

I've been holding off on the last episode of Ossan newbie adventurer cause I'm sad at not knowing if it'll get a second season.

I saw something that seemed like a..knock off of Mushoku Tensei. Blanking on the name, but main character seems like less of a weird pervert.

I've read a bit of the manhwa a couple of years ago, the start is basically a copy of Mushoku Tensei, but it goes it's own path pretty quick and, the MC is indeed a lot less pervy from what I remember. Other than that I thought it was pretty decent. The anime has gotten a lot of flak for having poor animation at first.

Other than that I thought it was pretty decent. The anime has gotten a lot of flak for having poor animation at first.

MC has no sex drive and is basically the polar opposite of Rudeus. He even goes on to struggle with the moral ramifications of his presence in the world even though that aspect isn't really covered in this season. Hard to say if we'll get another. I liked it enough to at least seek out the webcomic and there are 200+ chapters of it to wade through with it still ongoing. Really, I'd say the comparison with MT ends shortly after "over-intelligent toddler blows up house with magic" since even as a base it's stoic tyrant king vs. NEET otaku perv in personality. Some characters are a little too one-dimensional, though. Like, imagine Joffrey from GoT, but even more of a dick. That's how one character we briefly see gets.

Amazing they got All Might voicing the main character hahahahaha

I read the manga and just a few chapters not caught up. It starts off slightly monster of the weekish followed by a deeper plot. It also parodies other common anime here and there.
The monster designs though are top notch.

Overall, it was amazing, but my gawd did I want to blow my brains out during that long flashback sequence by the end of the movie. Even for Demon Slayer standards that was unnecessarily drawn out. I've been calling the movie Infinity Flashback since coming out of cinema. I also saw it in IMAX and the last movie I done that for was Infinity War, so the experience was even more mind-blowing (in a positive way this time, lol)

That flashback was poorly paced lol. Throwing that super long flashback at the end of the movie made no sense. Should've been closer to the middle. Maybe even split up into a couple of flashbacks

Sitting at 97%/98% on RT right now. Luckily this is on an IMAX screen near me. Its not true imax but I guess it would be better than standard. I'm going to try to check it out next week.
