I've been keeping up with it. It's.. interesting. The old-school style of animation that is surprisingly fluid, the bizarre, seemingly random little human tidbits they toss in for no obvious reason (like tired sighs or coughs or mumbles or etc), and a plot that I think I understand what's going on... but am kind of lost still lol

Plamo related but these Sprukits are pretty fun. Just pop them out of the runners but nubs can be obvious so may need to clean em up. Still this lvl 3 Master Chief has been great so far.

Nephew likes my gunpla so got him a lv 2, HG standards, chief while I got the lvl 3, ng 1/100 style, kits. Doubt this will help bring more gunpla stateside but hopefully the hobby will get better. The batman lv 2 and 3 look like shit.

So what grain of Sandpaper do you guys use?

i have had trouble finding the super fine grades but right now i use anything from 400 to about 1600. it depends what im looking to do, and also good to do a gradual increase.

Finally got through the first two episodes of Gundam Reconguista in G. It's pretty good if you are a fan of 0079 and Turn A Gundam. Very retro animation and Turn A-like pacing. I can totally see this anime throwing every Gundam fan off who aren't older (Post SEED fans) or truly hardcore.

G-Reco (Gundam Reconguista in G) potential spoilers:

It seems more and more that Gundam Reconguista in G is shaping up to be the prequel series to Turn ∀ Gundam itself. In episode 12, Happa tosses Bellri a backpack armor instruction manual that has a ∀ symbol on it. The same sort of manual can be seen in episode 3 of Turn ∀ when Rolan is trying to figure out how to pilot the titular machine (the only difference is that Bellri's manual is a literal book while Rolan's is a digitized manual -- the covers are exactly the same).

Both series reference Ameria -- Bellri is fighting for a pirate faction of the Amerian army while in Turn ∀ the conflict actually takes place on Ameria. The Armageddon referenced in Turn ∀ which seemingly laid complete waste to space colonies seems in line with it's explanation in the Reglid Century calender in G-Reco as well. The space colony Towasanga that has also been referenced in G-Reco which has produced the Gundam of it's age seems to be the space colony that was formed with the story of "Ring of Gundam".

The entire "Beauty Memory" from the "Ring of Gundam" might also possibly be the "Rose of Hermes" mentioned in G-Reco as well. It can be speculated that both are not only one and the same, but also a large data cache that has been collected throughout the entire UC calendar since Amuro Ray's time as a pilot. The "Rose of Hermes" might also have a tie to La Vie en Rose (and by extension Anaheim Electronics) from Gundam Zeta and ZZ.

While one can draw many early conclusions of the show, it seems to start picking up by episode 7. If you don't warm up to the series by episode 7, it won't be a show for you for sure.

I finally got around to finishing the original season of Gundam Build Fighters. Seriously some good shit. I can see why so many people were raving about it. I've been keeping up with Try every week, but I'm really glad I watched the original too
