I personally never cared for the Gundam and DW mixture really. Out of curiosity, Rise from the Ashes anyone (Dreamcast)?
It's impossible to find the opening the US recieved, without gameplay spillover..lol.

Well, not sure how I didn't notice this at all earlier.. but anyway:
Media Factory performed a survey where the company asked its Twitter followers which novels or manga they most want to be turned into an anime. Crossbone (which is essentially a "sequel" of sorts to F91, and a prequel to Victory) comes in ranked #2.
Always nice to see that the Japanese fanbase (the one that participated anyway) is on a similar wavelength as a sizable portion of the international fanbase.
Who knows, maybe we'll get that F91-Crossbone series (seriously, the F91 movie is terrible if you have knowledge of the original intended TV story, or novel). The movie was so compressed, I don't know why they did it; regardless, opportunity to do this right (and give the OYW-era a rest finally).
There is kind of some irony in Hathaway's Flash being up at #4 too. It would, short of some major changes, take place about a decade after Unicorn presumably ends. Unfortunately, it is also a rather sad story (even if one dislikes Hathaway over his Quess-boner and killing Chan); especially for Bright and Mirai. Still, it could happen I guess. It's length is more.. appropriate for an OVA series (unlike the hypothetical F91-Crossbone series; that shit could easily run upwards of 80-90 episodes after Crossbone: Ghost finishes). If anything, Unicorn's very strong performance (in sales and merchandise) makes it quite possible Hathaway's Flash can realisticly happen (with how the Unicorn ending changes, and potentially affects HF's story being unknown right now).
Since they're relevant, though fan-made, here's two versions of a proposed Hathaway's Flash OP/PV:
Spoiler: show
The old Gundam games I own:
Zeonic Front
MS SAGA: A new Dawn
Encounters in Space
Battle Assault 1,2, and 3(piece of SHIT)
Gundam SEED: Never Ending Tomorrow
Gundam vs Zeta Gundam
Federation vs Zeon
And 0079: Rise from the Ashes unscratched and working still with no problems. I need to get Journey to Jaburo next to finish my collection. I remember it being shit, but I want it.
I personally loved Never Ending Tomorrow's OP and Mission mode's
I played through Rise from the Ashes a few months ago with my girlfriend when she was in from Michigan. DC and Game in perfect working condition, one of my first loves.
That game probably had one of the best gameplay archetypes for a Gundam title ever made. I loved Fed vs Zeon and GvZG, but that first person view and gameplay was really fun. Its a shame, it really left me wanting the 'next' title with that sort of FPS feel.
One of the reasons I'm so looking forward to that what's it called mech game.. Hawken. Wasn't there another Gundam title released in December in Japan? It looked like a next generation Fed vs Zeon title but it had like all the suits ever from every series ever.. ever.
Gundam vs Gundam Extreme that's it
I fucking love Extreme VS. I just wish I didn't lag online or would play it more online. Trial mode is just as fun as it was in GvGN+.
Well, prepare your bodies for next Monday (or Tuesday, not sure if they're accounting for the time differential) gentlemen.
Unicorn Ep. 5 info will begin "flooding" out; a certain Re-GZ is possibly poised to have one last hurrah, and we get some hardcore Unicorn vs. Banshee vs. Earth Federation Forces combat.
And more of that Banshee wail (it also gets its own theme, obviously).
Probably spoiler-worthy (not so much so that it would ruin the episode..but still):
Spoiler: show
Nothing yet regarding Unicorn..
But some new info regarding the MG Marasai:
*It will use a modified Zaku 2.0 frame.
*The LED apparently is not included (seperate purchase and/or limited first-issue bonus... or something like that).
*Monoeye movement is accomplished in the same manner as the 2.0 Zeon kits (just turn the head, monoeye moves).
*It will include a "display purpose" bonus; people with far better comprihension and reading say it seems like a nod towards the return of the Ballute System (re-entry add-on equipment) first utilized on the non-plated MG Hyaku-Shiki.
*Dry-rub decals (and stickers...) not finalized yet; maybe they'll release the waterslide decal sheets for the MGs of the first-half around this time.
Extreme VS FULL BOOST opening in JPN arcades in april

Nothing but the key visuals for UC so far..
Some cool t-shirts being released in April:

There's a Robot Damashii TV Version Wing Zero coming up.

MG Marasai preview poster:

I just want this moment animated
Spoiler: show
I'm sure that will be kept, no matter how much the ending changes (in fact I suspect only certain elements, like who someone is or the equipment loadouts on the major MS, what MS are present, etc. will change). Plus, that scene is a homage to the original Gundam anyway, so I would be shocked if it wasn't included in the final episode.
Spoiler: show
Any possibilities for stuff like Hathaway's Flash (OVA) or a F90-F91-Crossbone TV series happening could concievably influcence the ending too (the former much more so than the latter, due to proximity to Unicorn's events).
Of course, MSG: The Origin anime is on the horizon somewhere after AGE finishes (probably); so either of those projects would be two years out, or more concievably.
Edit: The Unicorn PS3 game is being released on Tuesday, March 6th (effectively Monday for us in the Americas); so whenever information emerges about the origins of Full Frontal and the Sinanju theft operation, IC or myself will probably post it. So I suppose we should all look forward to that.
Additionally, this.
As per previous post, nothing to report yet. But I did feel it necessary to visit this terrible shit upon everyone here as well.
Continuing on, a friend stumbled upon G-Saviour today; wanted to know if it was any good (you unfortunate soul). I only saw it once; paying five USD in 2001 for this bargain bin piece of shit felt pretty horrible then, looking back, that was a fucking crime. Having said this, you might be wondering what the fuck "G-Saviour" is too; which is probably not surprising given the lengths NBH (and really, the entire fanbase) have gone to basicly shove this pile of shit into a dark, non-canon, secluded corner.
But, back on topic; I linked them these from a really unfortunate "game":
Spoiler: show
It's like the sick fucks behind G-Saviour learned nothing. Indeed, that basicly is G-Saviour.
I kinda went to look for a small clip of this abomnation on YouTube; instead I found the whole fucking movie:
Spoiler: show
Given that G-Saviour is without the fucking terrible comedic gold of the aforementioned "game," it's really painful to subject yourself to the entirety of this shit pile. I still would not be shocked to learn Uwe Boll or Michael Bay (not enough explosions though) were involved with some aspect of this; that's how bad it really is.
Def_Ender always gets gundam games early.
Gundam Unicorn on ps3
http://www.justin.tv/def_ender#/w/2717595584
Wasn't aware it doesn't cost -that- much to import, US$ 62.90 + $4.90 shipping.
http://www.play-asia.com/Mobile_Suit...n-70-4gr9.html
That's actually not terrible.. all things considered.
Then again, i'm acustomed to importing tools and supplies... lol.
That may be the cheapest i've seen though (compared to going through Amazon.co.jp anyway).
Also, heads up for anyone who has a MG or HG Sinanju; good probability that Gundam UC ACE #4 is going to include the Rocket Bazooka (x1 of each scale supposedly; no scans attesting to this at the moment).
RGM-89DEW EWAC Jegan
![]()
Some more Unicorn MSV include:
The RGC-90 Jegan Heavy Armor from the CCA-MSV, and Angelo's personal Geara Doga (both from the prequel novel for the PS3 game); no scans (or game DLC announcement of either) either yet.
Edit: Also some kind of pre-deployment or.. "early-type" Jegan D.
Edit 2: Just gonna place the link here; note, that "Initial Deployment Type" Jegan D isn't the aforementioned RGC-90.
Ok, time for a bump.
First up; Zeonic is getting their hands on the Unicorn PS3 game. Maybe expect the translation sometime in April (guessing; Crossbone Ghost, Gundam W: The Glory of Losers, etc. is on their plate as well so that might be optimistic). Of course, any interesting facts and stuff will likely be out before such time.
Second; they've released the latest chapter for the manga Gundam W Endless Waltz: The Glory of Losers Ch. 16.
*Should clarify; Glory of Losers is basicly retconning the EW-designs into the TV series as well as giving them new equipment and such, while simultaneously departing from the TV series plot (the latest chapter is one such example). It's actually pretty good.
In other Unicorn news; expect the preview video near the end of March (or early April), the latest work for both English and Japanese dubs are in the final stages or something. Also due for another Ep. 5 update in a week or so; this time hopefully with some eagerly anticipated MS from previous series/MSV (and characters). Probably won't hear anything about how the OVA will end this year or continue as necessary (especially if they took the criticism over Ep.4's super-compression to heart), until April.
Despite that guy being terrible at the whole piloting thing, looked enjoyable.
