Is the series slated to be 2-cour or 3/4-cour? They keep bringing up the world tournament and it'd be a damn shame if it doesn't get at least 12 episodes

Been that way for nearly 2 seasons. I don't really mind though, it's hype and animated nicely (compared to a lot of mech anime) so I just take it for what it is. Ridiculous fan service. Though having said that, the non-fan service Gundam hasn't been at all interesting so this is all that's left.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying it lol. And I've actually been really liking Reconguista too
Been really hard to get through Recoguista episodes. Aside from the nice mech animation everything is terrible like 10 episodes in, and I haven't watched past that yet. I might if it gets better later on but holy shit it's painful to watch these idiots draw oxygen.
I don't get why the humans have to be so terrible when everything else looks so interesting.
I find Reconguista a bit confusing at times, especially if you don't watch an episode for a couple weeks. There's so many factions that switch sides constantly it's insane. I have to always look up which side is which lol. It's a jumbled mess and with 2 episodes to go, I still don't feel they are anywhere close to a climax. A second season of this would just be too painful.
Yeah, the plot does jump around quite a bit and sometimes what seems to occur just comes out of no where. And there are A LOT of characters to keep track of and despite most of them looking really unique and different, somehow there are still some that look similar and are easy to confuse
The main guy has also gone full Amuro/Kira in his whole "I don't want to kill people but will anyway" mentality lol
I think the only thing that seriously pisses me off about G-Reco is the fact that every character in the anime is pretty damn childish about what should be serious matters. Serious topics or matters of discussion get bogged down by a random humorous moment, which complete destroys the mood. It seems the only moments that aren't tarnished by random humor are deathflag/death of a character moments.
It's really infuriating.
Despite this, G-Reco's story is much closer to what reality would be than most Gundam series with everyone's motivations. Life simply isn't about a linear, good guy group takes on evil government/organization -- it goes much deeper. If you examine each character or group and focus on them individually with each episode, you'll realize that they are, in fact a reflection of humanity, one with constantly changing ideologies and motivations.
Remember that there were 4 cups with Kousaka China and Sei

MG F91 came in today.
Now to wait for F90 to never happen unless I get those really old kits, that actually look alright.
Surprised there aren't more BF MGs, but..

Sick. I hope that thing is badass. That green will really added some different color to the little display I have going on now.
Those fucking green dragon kids got 2 episodes and not even the final round got 2 episodes ><!!
Yea, would have loved to see a 2-episode final battle, lots of opportunities there with the team diversity -
Spoiler: show
Were they? I suppose when you put it that way it was only really 1 episode's worth of fighting.
I do really really hope that the World Tournament isn't a montage at the end of next week's episode and there's some kinda surprise announcement at the end for a new season.
I want to say they were, but I'm not 100% sure. Most of the other fights were still only half that length though (only one half episode).
Gundam Reconguista Final Episode
...
What just happened? By my last count, there were 3 sides fighting in opposition. The Space Pirates (Team Bellri), the team from Towasanga with Captain Mask and that incredibly annoying girl who basically stabbed all her friends in the back because she was gaga over Mask, and then the Amerian army. But there was a 4th (maybe even a 5th) faction a couple episodes ago in space but they got wiped out just before everyone entered the Earth's atmosphere.
And then they fought on Earth. And like 2 notable people died including the Chancellor/headpriest guy who got killed in an admittedly brutal way. And then Bellri and Mask's suits fought and they didn't kill each other but wrecked each other's suits. And then everyone became friends and lived happily ever after?
Why the fuck was everyone fighting again? The batteries? The Towasangians wanted to take over the Earth and the Amerians wanted to control the creation/distribution of batteries?
Why the fuck did it end so abruptly? Why did the pink-haired girl who got preggers suddenly become BFF's with that blonde girl when not 5 minutes earlier in the episode they were trying to fucking kill each other? Why was there more or less absolutely no acknowledgement that 2 big heads of state were killed in the last 3 episodes?
Why the fuck did the fighting just come to an end? Because Bellri's sister told them all to... because her adopted dad used to be the President or something? Why would everyone, including opposition factors, even listen to her? What was the point of even bringing the fight to Earth? What's the big deal with that big green Crescent ship flying around the Earth? What significance does that hold? Are they in charge now? What about that other massive yellow Towasangian space moon ship? What happened to that one?
Why is everyone suddenly happy and friends and shit?
What the fuck did I just watch?
