I was thinking about checking out Recongista but I heard the story was really hard to follow. Rather, read it was hard to follow

It's... interesting. The art style of the series is like a throwback to the 80's animations. And it felt like they had a lot of interesting ideas for the story but the execution of it was just terribad. And while I don't remember the ending that well (it was that unmemorable), I do remember it being incredibly abrupt and full of "wtf? 26 episodes for that?".

I think the radical difference between Mika and Heero or Setsuna is that Mika does in fact knows the implications of what he's doing in executing these characters. Orga being set up to be this series' Ali al-Saachez, but maybe in a more beneficial way for the orphans instead of a lunatic blood thirsty berserker.

I do not get Ali al saachez vibes from Orga at all and it seems like he prefers to command rather than pilot. Mika is just an absolute no-nonsense person. It'll be interesting to see how his character evolves

Yeah, especially based on the opening, I get the feeling that Orga is going to be the captain (who probably dies in the end) and not a villain.

A teaser website opened on Wednesday to announce that an anime adaptation of Yasuo Ohtagaki's Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt manga has been green-lit. The website lists Gundam's copyright holder Sotsu Agency and anime studio Sunrise.

I only build MGs, and the ones I've bought have been the perfect size for them, so I imagine they'd be too big on HGs.

The ED song for IBO is fantastic. It's like a cool, jazzy, almost like a spy-thriller kind of song. 6 episodes in, the series has been solid, and even with today's slower, battle free episode, it did really well in fleshing out the characters, especially Orga

This is the best overall cast in a long time. I hope Kudelia doesn't end up like Relena Lacus/Cagagli Marida.
