Broken record every week but Iron-Blooded Orphans is fucking fantastic. Didn't expect that ending at all

Wasn't surprised the brother went all bat-shit crazy when he heard Akihiro say he found a "family". When that happened, I was expecting them to fight it out a little before eventually getting split a part again and the brother being a mentally crazed antagonist for a few episodes until they eventually reconciled before dying in battle.

Did not expect him to get Zaku-Mjolnir'd to the face 30 seconds later.

Also, still no mobile suits blowing up in an explosion of purple space gas. All those debris kids dying in brutally realistic ways. This series is like, the polar opposite of Gundam Build Fighters lol

The animation, direction and music were on point, holy shit at those fights. Really looking forward to more.

The new ED, while pretty good, just doesn't compare to the first ED at all. It'll be missed

The old ED is the only one I can think of in recent memory that I sat through every single episode. I think the last one was probably the special one from Aldnoah Zero.

I think I did the same too. The build up from the end of each episode transitioning into the song was just on point every single episode while it was used

I agree, the first ED set a pretty high bar. It was so unsettling not to hear it this week, it made me hate the new ED out of spite.
