Started watching the original 0079 series during the new years' break, and it's kinda funny. The way things are going now we could be seeing the early moments of a New Zeon rebellion, and the whole thing is gonna be scapegoated onto Tekkadan and Kudelia. Bit ironic that there's a Gundam on the side of the colonists this time.

What's interesting is that we have a bunch of factions, and none of them are pure evil outside of the old corrupt fucks. We have Teiwaz who want to make money, Tekkidan who are trying to 'do the right thing' and make money, we have EmoHalfbreed and friends who want to JUSTICE but recognize that their organization is corrupt, and then we have ChocolateChar who who sees they are corrupt but also wants to AN CHAR his way into fixing it.
