I feel like this should've been the standard for Gundam, not the exception. There are some dark moments here and there, but nothing this consistently dark, brutal, honest and straight forward (lol Mika and Atra).

Perhaps but I think Iok has had way more idiotic actions. Which combined with his general scumbaggery makes him worse to me.

From the sounds of it, it sounded like Bael also had the "extra brain" system. 00 had the dual-GN drive system that made the machines OP, Seed had the Neutron Jammer Cancellers for OP machines. And IBO has machines with... a spare brain? Whatever works I guess. Show is still fucking awesome.

But it sounds like the only really benefit of the extra brain over the normal AV system is that the second brain prevents pilots from ending paralyzed.

Basically it allows the pilot to to use the suit's full potential all the time with no downside. Even for someone like Mika who doesn't give a fuck about the ramifications, I would imagine there's a limit to how long you can go all out before something like an aneurysm happens.

Which given how OP an unrestricted Gundam is, makes that 2nd brain option all that more powerful.

6 eps left. They think its the final battle. But I'm sure theres gonna be some turns and twists. Still not fully convinced McGillis won't end up the final bad guy.

Also I'm trying to watch some Universal Century gundam shows/movies. I've only seen Unicorn. Can someone help me figure out what order I should be watching the show and movies in. And which ones??
