I'd bank on it being the band. Some of them they get wacky with.

So, in that recently released Unicorn mook, they made note of Commander M'quve (from 0079) stating he successfully mined/obtained the resources to allow Zeon to fight another ten years during his escape from Odessa. Basicly, they're echoing the same claims from as far back as when Zeta first aired.

Between the Delaz Fleet, Axis Neo Zeon, Char's Neo Zeon, and now the Sleeves (incorporating survivors from all Zeonic movements) its stated that those resources M'quve obtained from mining facilities like Odessa all those years ago in 0079 that have allowed these post-war Zeons to keep fighting. Futher, the relative bulk of those resources not being expended during the One Year War, as well as whatever supplimental resources they can obtain (see almost all of these remnants being based out of mining asteroids, etc.) have extended their ability to field a sizable military force well into the 0090s.

It's only by the time of Unicorn that the Zeons are running out of the resources to keep resisting the Federation (keep in mind, this is after three conflicts; with the two latter Zeon factions generally being the only ones to field both brand new mobile weapons and warships). The Axis Neo Zeon probably consumed the most between all of them; making Axis and Moussa habitable, building a bunch of new warships (including the Gwadan-class battleship; the second largest warship in the Universal Century after the General Revil), and fielding a large modern force of MS, plus even multiple MAs (including repairing the Psyco Gundam Mk. II and building the Queen Mansa). Char's Neo Zeon fielded the sturdy and dependable Geara Dogas (and Jagd Dogas), the Sazabi, the huge Alpha Azieru, the Musaka-class and the Rewloola-class. They didn't have to expend anything as far as establishing a base of operations in Sweetwater though; as the Federation cobbled that refugee colony together from the surviving portions of two different colonies (an open-type, and a closed-type).

Which leaves the Sleeves, basing themselves out of the mining asteroid complex at Palau. They generally speaking are only really fielding a relatively small number of new MS, like the Geara Zulu and Kshatryia (the Shamblo is best cateogrized as being a legacy weapon from the Haman Neo Zeon's time on Earth, considering the material requirements to build it, not even Anaheim/black market smuggling would really account for the needed stuff). Everything else they seem to be fielding is essentially surviving weapons and warships from previous Neo Zeon wars (both because they're still very much viable, but also out of necessity).

But, what's even more interesting is that they basicly acknowledge the Mars Zeon too; stating of that group that they opted to only take what was necessary to establish a habitable colony there in the immediate aftermath of the OYW. Essentially, they took only the needed things to survive and essentially only had OYW-era MS at best (counting on making use of resources in the Mars sphere to do anything beyond the above). This is the part that hasn't been even raised previously; it now accounts for the Mars Zeon (the very last Zeon faction left by the time of F90) and plausibly demonstrates how these Neo Zeons have been able to keep fighting so long (the Mars Zeon pretty much left as much as they could to those who wanted to keep actively resisting the Federation). This basicly fits nicely with the Buch Concern/Crossbone Vanguard's involvement in funding their modernization and operations prior to and during the events of F90.

So it's possible that the groundwork for the F90-F91-Crossbone series is being laid, if only slowly. We can hope, anyway. If the series is indeed being worked on already, and if they can get it on TV by 2014, it'll mark 20 years since the last UC TV-series aired (Victory).

Yep, compilation volumes. I hope the Vertical editions are of the same quality as those.

Edit: Went to see if the Amazon listing had it as hardcover; nothing yet, but the price is down to 19.57 atleast. Looks like this is the cheapest price among US retailers. Volume 1 is listed as 442 pages also.

So you won't be getting the dust jacket (unless a limited first run includes them maybe):

Hey, fuck you C3. Putting these resin kits out in 1/100 now it is fucking trolling of the highest caliber. You can roll the dice on a MG Jegan D being released at some point in 2013 (which basicly means a Stark Jegan, ECOAS-type, and A/A2 are very likely to follow at some point), or you realize that it's fucking 2012 and we still don't have an official 1/100 scale Jegan (and bite the bullet and go with the expensive resin kit).

    Spoiler: show

    Fuck.

Gundam AGE psp game is great. Only gripe is the stuff leading up to the ending.

Does the PSP game show the ending or does it end at some point we've witnessed in the anime?

Holy shit, it's a female character (who have such excellent development in AGE) to turn Flitler away his Final Vagianlution. I didn't see that one coming.
