Atleast 00 had two compitent captain/leader in Kati and Sumeragi, Shirin was pretty astute politically and providing leadership for Katharon, plus general compitence from Soma/Marie. Which is a big step up from this:

Sadly, the movie did end up dropping the ball on letting Marina have some kind of leadership role following S2. On the otherhand, the other women did pretty good.

On a side-note; atleast if Lacus was Palpatine, and Fllay was Palpatine... SEED might have turned out to be more entertaining than it was (atleast I agree with /m/ on this). Instead it's some fucking pink hair pop singing cuntbag leading a bunch of plot-armored brooms with beamspam.

As much as people hate on Seed (Well, probably moreso on Destiny), the last couple HD episodes were great to rewatch. The series is/was still quite good.

Destiny is garbage regardless of how fancy they make the HD version. Albeit Strike Freedom is all sorts of overpowered amazingness

Yeah. SEED is easily my favorite non-UC series. With that said, I still haven't caught up on the HD remaster. I haven't been watching much anime lately in general, though. I may start catching up on SEED soon. I was mainly waiting for the series to get to the part where Kira shows up with Freedom for the first time and fucks everybody up(one of my favorite scenes).

Also, rumor mill suggests a MG Marasai Zeon Remnants limited release will be coming in November.. so if you prefer the Marasai colors (and weapons) from Unicorn, there you go.

November will see more release in the MS Bulders line (1/144 and 1/100); namely some pilot figures and crew, male and female. Finally, that "System Weapons" line of weapons and shields that the HGUC 1/144s have is also coming to the MG line early next year (probably going to be initally OYW weapons, like all first things). Good news I guess, is that maybe the MMP-80 machine gun and other older kit weapons will get a modern treatment.

That episode came out a couple weeks ago (and yeah, I agree, one of my favourites!). They just aired the episode where Orb destroys itself and Cagalli finds out about her brother and the Freedom and Justice have that creepy robo- "I love you" stare when they finally hold hands while trying to grab onto the ship that gets launched into space.

I never really had an issue with SEEDs ending including the last several episodes, how it wrapped up was actually entertaining once they hit space again(until they retconned Mwu not dying in a blaze of AWESOME GLORY) and getting some insight into why Rau is fucking insane was nice as opposed to him just being insanely racist like Zaft/Earth forces.

Wish I had time to find a proper link to the Mwu thing but I have to run out the door @_@

Destiny was great because of how Shinn handled things, but then Kira showed up and stole Shinn's own show from him.

Shinn was annoying at times but I sort of liked his character until it seemed obvious they were gonna switch back to Kira and decided to make him as unlikable as he was early on and Durandal went from making sense to make no sense. It's like they decided they wanted to copy Zeta and have the main characters from first series play supporting roles, or at least follow a different protagonist(Athrun pretty much being the Char of Zeta, right down to the fucking sunglasses in the first episode) then at Episode 39 Amuro flies into space and steals the show and ruins the entire point of the series while Beltorchika sits in a ship spamming newtype effects for no reason.

Not that anyone should give any fucks at all (or really even be watching anymore), but Seric died. Differently from the game, but he's dead nonetheless.

I guess the only highlight left is Anus getting blown up, then we're done.

Kio really has ascended up to join Kira, Athrun, and Shinn among protagonists towards whom I have many blazing suns of hatred for.

Only thing Kio has going for him is that he doesn't suffer from a severe case of SAMEFACE/Hiraiface like the cast of SEED.

I like how Seric put more thought and tactics into that fight than anything Kio has done the entire arc(since he just gets carried by his suit + X-Rounder powers) all without using a Gundam but a slightly customized mass produced suit. And can't forget how he lead troops into the moon base and tricked them into surrendering or else Flitler would nuke them while everyone else is wasting time with the Girard nonsense. He will probably go down as the 2nd most likable normal pilot in the series, behind Asemu.

And of course the minute Kio becomes likable, he lets the guy who killed his friend + the only Vagan to ever actually accept his "UNDERSTANDING" bullshit live instead of killing him. This guy...

^So essentially all we're left to look forward to is "Captain" (or is it lower case c now since she's a fucking useless retard?) Anus getting blown up, right? I mean, I am looking forward to it at the very least since there is no way this fucking series ends on a high note.

If only Episode 6 wasn't so far away, the recovery from AGE might not be so rough.

Besides Crossbone I would like to see Hathaway's Flash done in a OVA like Unicorn. Could finish it in 1-3 episodes unless they extend it.
