Yeah, it is the official JewTube channel. It should stay up even with Bandai Ent. shutting down for good in November (since Anime Channel is an offshoot of the JP one via Bandai).

Also for those who care, GSAM finally has some new stock coming in on 9/17 (a Monday); looks like it's current up through August releases.

Think i'll get another Marasai or two (or three..).

Sounds like Episodes 6 and 7 are going to have extended run times in excess of 75 minutes.

I suppose they will probably be approaching 90 minutes, if I had to guess, with this extended production schedule and all. That extra 30 minutes or so could allow L1 to stay in Ep. 6 and not get compressed or parts cut out.

I finally caught up on Unicorn today(fuck Riddhe btw, holy shit at this guy) so that's good to hear, the last 2 definitely felt a bit rushed in some parts. I'm still trying to figure out the point of the Boxing Glove/Claw on the Banshee though.

Besides being a slashing/ripping physical melee weapon with psychoframe material to augment it, it also acts as a grappling/capture weapon as well (if necessary, it's stated to be capable of restraining most standard-size MS without doing too much damage). This of course ties into the original purpose of the UC Project and the NT-Destroyer system; Newtype hunting (factoring the possibility of an I-Field equipped MA or MS opponent). It also retains the funnel hijacking abilities as well because of the NT-D. The forearm beam saber is also useable in both the closed and claw modes too (the right arm saber isn't able to be accessed/used without purging the Armed Armor BS first, but it can be accessed/used if the two funnel halves are swung forward to fire, etc.).

TL;DR: it's a weapon designed specifically to deal with I-Fields and the like, that punching and/or beam sabers might not always be an ideal option for; especially if you might want to capture the pilot alive (using your claw weapon to rip the cockpit pod out).

The Banshee is the representative of what the project was supposed to be (wheras the Unicorn/Unit 1 is the opposite), before Siam and Cardeas decided to do what they did. Without the La+/Laplace program monitoring and judging Banagher's actions, the Unicorn would basicly just be a Newtype killing MS. The Banshee in the OVA takes up the lion motiff while giving it those two new weapons (both to differentiate it from the Unicorn, but also to play up the "true" purpose of the NT-D).

Why are you so bad, AGE? All we wanted was something that lived up to the game duel. But no, you gave us derpheart and his lament over getting hairsocks killed. All he really managed to do was kill Obright (at a hugely disproportionate cost).

Also, I think the Diva was destroyed; didn't it have some useless retard on-board? That poor ship's suffering is at an end.

I'm actually replaying that fight right now and it's much harder in the game lol Zeheart will wreck your shit. Fight in the anime reminds me of the final destiny episode with shin becoming a weak pilot all of a sudden

Ya'll must be smoking crack. AGE is easily the most terrible Gundam in the last 10~15+ years, including SEED Destiny.

I dunno what I just watched in episode 48. And now Episode 49 will pull some random Necron/Yu Yevon shit, with the TRUE final boss coming out of absolutely no where.

Fuck this shit.

EDIT-- Actually I will list every bad thing that is wrong with Episode 48:

Zehart

1) Goes from loving his army and crew, to "kill em all style."
2) Zeheart is the main antagonist for the majority of AGE, and yet he gets his shit pushed in only in a matter of 45 seconds, with no epic Gundam v Gundam fight.
3) Not only does Zeheart get his shit pushed in and killed, but he does so after promising Fram he would "Lead the way to Eden." Good job, getting yourself pwned after making such a promise.
4) Kills the majority of his own army, and still manages to miss every major protagonist type character, sans an already dying Obright, x1 Diva Class Ship & x1 AGE Builder.
5) There was no point in spending an episode on Zeheart "mastering Gundam Legilis" if he was gonna get his shit wrecked so easily.
6) Wasn't going to win against x3 powered up AGE Gundam systems anyways.

Fram

1) Didn't really have to die at all, but killed due to blind love and devotion to an idiot that had no clue what he was fighting for anymore.
2) Randomly gets Liel killed. She didn't even know he had feelings for her (of course the writers just added this tidbit to solidify his death), so he died a meaningless death.
3) See 2) of Zeheart. Died for absolutely no reason at all.
4) Zeheart didn't even reciprocate her feelings til he gave the order to fire. What a way to die.

Zanald

1) The antagonists' antagonist also dies a useless death. An exceptionally meaningless character who didn't even antagonize Zeheart much throughout the series.
2) This fool knew Zeheart was planning something and didn't use the time to get away.

Obright

1) My nigga, you died like a fucking boss. Going in like Woolfe would have.

Flit

1) You salute the Diva, but not Obright? Fuck you.

Kio

1) Now more worthless than Shin Asuka and pussy version of Kira Yamato combined.

I know Hino wants to pull a "Kill-em-all Tomino" but you can't do this shit without adequate character development. And it's not adequate when very few viewers an relate to these characters being killed off. Stick to Professor Layton games, Hino... you're better at it.

SID is the final boss in the game, fought 3 times, and he's a tough mother fucker. And Necron was not a random final fight

In "Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary Ultimania - File 1: Character Book", Necron is described as, "a being awakened by Kuja's fear, despair, and hatred, which called out to it as he learned of his mortality, just as his ambitions were within reach".

I want to agree with you, I really do. But at the very least, AGE didn't have SAMEFACE/Hiraiface characters. That has to count for something..

Either way, SEED finally has a new friend down there at the bottom of the heap.

Now we just have to hope the AGE games didn't do well enough to have someone even entertain giving this shitwreck a movie (or another series, jfc). Model kits and video sales sure as fuck scream "NOOOOOPE."

I know bro, but he's still just a final boss that fills the "Final Boss out of no where, making the plotline semi pointless" boss quota. If SID is the final boss and not this random ass clone, then it's a redeeming quality at least.

So let down still. I actually had high hopes for AGE, even though Flit's Arc started off slow, and was unevenly paced. This is the problem of trying to compact 3 series into one, I guess. This could have easily been much better, should they had just made it 3 separate series over time. Flit's story would have been that much better due to him having the very best character development out of the three generations, we would have seen more epic Super Pilot fight by Asemu, and Kio would not have been so useless in his own 49 episode story.

This 0079 War Reboot/Reimaging & Unicorn could not come any faster. I need them to wash away the memories of AGE. AGE might be seriously the only Gundam show I will never watch again in it's entirety.
