So, it seems that that grenade launcher for the Riddhe-piloted Banshee can also fire a tactical nuke (nuclear grenade I guess?)..

    ..hoo boy.

To be fair giving people who shouldn't have it a large amount of power is pretty much par for the course in Gundam. Zeheart at the end of AGE, Paptimus, Glemy Toto, Char anytime except for Zeta, the Frost Brothers(seriously the best example, these guys...), Zechs. The list goes on.

Since they're changing the ending, who knows if he's going to not use it or use it in the "right" way.

This could end quite badly for someone, given the proximity of that information becoming known, and Episode 6. They're definitely setting the odds against the Nahel Argama and Garencieres rather high; the Sleeves are probably going to bring out the heavy hitters like the Dooben-Wolf, etc. (along with the Republic of Zeon backup) and the conspirators in the Federation are throwing the fucking General Revil and local patrol fleets at them (along with a nuclear-equipped Riddhe). And that isn't even their trump card either.. lol It's not known if the Revil has its full MS compliment aboard (around 50) or not; either way, its very apparent that the Nahel Argama and Garencieres are outnumbered on all fronts really (pretty sure they're through with Full Frontal soon enough), even if the Nahel Argama was resupplied while in orbit for 18 days (it did lose pretty much all its MS besides the ECOAS unit reminants).

I honestly don't think the Nahel Argama will survive the events of Unicorn; the crew (mostly) probably will, but the ship? No way the Federation would just let them get away so easily knowing what they do. Given what they're up against, it's probably going to get fucking battered hard and go out in a blaze of glory; though not before it probably fires that hyper mega particle cannon one last time (like it did at Palau).

    The Origin English-translated release stuff:
    Spoiler: show
A bonus Kio Shimoku (Genshiken) drawn versions of several female cast from 0079 included in Vol. 3.

The covers of the first two volumes (Vol. 2 is reversed to show the rear).

HLJ is restocking pretty much all of the old Wing 1/144s (sans figures) if anyone cares; I needed afew 1/100 Tallgeese kits for my Batara conversions and it figures they're finally restocking the Wing 1/144 (most recent production was 2010 I guess).

Unicorn Episode 7's run time will be at least 80 minutes, and may be even closer to 90 based on the Q:A in the article in this month's Great Mechanics DX ; I don't have the article on-hand, just reporting it from elsewhere. Nanai Miguel (should) appear by the last episode, if not sooner (Ep. 6); we're also going to get some kind of "hint" as to who Full Frontal is in Episode 6 (enough to fuel the speculative fires anyway). I also have this feeling we're going to see the remains of the Nu Gundam or something too by the time this is over, moreso if FF turns out to be genuine (not the doppelganger). The Zeons recovered the Sazabi's cockpit shortly after the pushback of Axis by Amuro and the Nu, so they likely took anything worthwhile left of the Nu as well.

To help set the stage for Episode 6, the Zeon side will (as I recall from the novels) be fielding around 89 MS (iexcluding the Sinanju and Rozen Zulu); these are a mixture of Zssas, Ga-Zowms, Geara Dogas, Geara Zulus, Hizacks, Hizack Customs, and two Eye-Zacks. Don't be surprised if the OVA switches things up by adding in Dreissens and Doven-Wolves too (they've gone back to using Doven-Wolf again..); we'll probably even see afew Zaku IIIs and Bawoos. The Federation's forces primarily consist of the General Revill's MS (which are about 40 still, despite the loss/damaging of the first wave by Angelo), and the MS contingents of the three Salamis Kai-classes and a Columbus-class ship of a local patrol fleet (these were all Jegan-Ds in the novel, but they'll probably be changed to the old A-type, or something). There's also two Clop-class ships, but i'm not sure how the OVA will handle this since there's some changes (likely just putting them in with the Revill or the patrol fleet). Including Riddhe and the Tristars, the Federation was fielding around 66 MS, and the OVA will probably keep close to that number. The Nahel Argama and Garencieres are up against some pretty shitty odds, obviously (and the Federation has the Banshee slinging a nuclear RPG).

Look who made it up to space too for Episode 6:
    Spoiler: show
That's Watts in the Jesta Cannon, at the top of the pic.

Also, forgot: new OST releases with each of the two remaining episodes; i'd expect the 7th episode to have a pretty hefty OST (although there will probably some substantial remixes on previous themes). Episode 6 itself should probably have at the very least 3 new songs (as per stuff we kind of already know), and will actually probably have more like 6-7.

The Armed Armor DE (originally from the Bande Dessine Unicorn manga); this is what the Riddhe-piloted Banshee looks to be equipped with. If I had to guess, the FA Unicorn/mastered Unicorn will also probably get at least one.

It mounts a beam cannon and a rather powerful thruster, which can be directed in any direction thanks to the ability of the DE to swivel around 360 degrees (which is really only possible on the backpack mount). It also retains the I-field generator.

I can't wait for Riddhe to get on the battlefield, armed with a nuke, and learning that Mineva is still with Banagher after choosing Banagher over him. After sustaining head trauma from the Banshee the previous fight. Whatever could go wrong.

Seriously why is the Federation so fucking retarded in all of UC. It never ends, even in Char's Counterattack. "OK Char you dropped a rock on Earth. So you want to buy Axis from us is that right? Sure we'll trust you."

To be honest, depending on the accuracy of the translation I got, Riddhe may actually have multiple tactical nuclear grenades. So yeah, people are going to be vaporized or irradiated probably (I bet they're going to carefully approach the accuracy of the nuclear explosions, remember 0083 and that retardedly large explosion?).

The Federation's political elite are pretty much just fucking assholes, only interested in their own well-being and sustaining their loftly lifestyles (and consequentially the status quo). It's basicly the worst things; peanuts and circuses for the masses, etc. so they don't overthrow them and always having some kind of threat when it is convienent (see Stardust, etc.). There's some independent colonies (but these are the rare ones) which don't rely on the Federation for funds, social programs, or economically, but they are quite rare even as the Federation declines. The Zabis really fucked the whole spacenoid liberation /independence ideology up forever with the violence and genocide; had they stuck to Zeon Zum Deikun's ideology, things would have easily turned out much differently.

The EF military on the other hand, is generally a pretty professional force and is rather compitent (though frequently at a disadvantage of some sort, be it technology, numbers, politics). They aren't typically able to do much or act decisively due to the aforementioned bureaucratic red-tape, though there has been occasions (end of ZZ, end of CCA, F91 and Victory among others) where they said fuck it and threw what forces they could mobilize behind the good guys. It's relatively rare for us to actually see a politician or official who isn't fucking things in the ass or being naive; Cameron Bloom is one of the rare examples of the politicos who actually try to do the right and fair thing, though unlike Blex Forer he wasn't especially high-ranking or influential.

So, I guess the Ep.6 preview video is going up in the middle of next week if the GM DX interview is still on-target with the timeline. http://www.gundam-unicorn.net/en/index.html

HLJ is restocking a good number of 1/100s and 1/144s for various series:
    Gundam X
    Gundam W
    SEED
    SEED Destiny

For the most part, everything is getting some restocks; few of these are actually "long-term reproduction" kits; the Gundam X stuff is pretty much the only series here aside from F91.

    Here's a general link:

Yeah, it's a new short they made for the Blu-Ray collection; it's a pretty limited edition per-order deal too (so I have a gut feeling it's not getting subbed anytime soon). It doesn't really seem like there's much to it other than the multi-faceted attack.

So, with the release of the HGUC Rozen Zulu, some notes:

The RZ has a "hybrid" cockpit that incorporates the psychoframe from some Sinanju spare parts; which by the way, it also incorporate Sinanju parts, (especially) those discarded as they put the Zeon stylings to the original version. In addition to the psychoframe cockpit block arrangement it also has the perfected quasi-psycommu system (from the Doven-Wolf) as fitting of the concept descendant of the Hamma Hamma; this obviously enables a non-Newtype to utilize the perfected Incom weapon arms (recall that the Hamma Hamma could only utilize these in direct launch-fire attacks).

Finally, the rose-like Psycho Jammer bits interfere with the function of the NT-D; the affect upon the NT-D is to prevent it from activating/functioning when within the bits spheres of effect. The obvious effect then is that the Unicorn loses its greatest asset. Their appearance is not just simply for show either; it is actually a vectored-thrust system as well, enabling these NT-D disabling bits to evade intercepting fire from multiple sources.

I guess Angelo is confirmed for a Newtype/Cyber-Newtype too, as those jammer bits wouldn't be terribly functional without him being so.

Late addition but: Episode 6 preview video the week of January 9th (probably mid-week), the episode was just finished (all post-production shit I assume) within the past tweek or so by a couple accounts.

Full listing of January Bandai kit releases and re-issues (PDF):
    http://bandai-hobby.net/site/schedule.html
    http://bandai-hobby.net/site/schedule_images/nouhin.pdf

MG Jesta isn't coming with a Base Jabber; this is probably going to be a stand-alone kit (or fucking shit, a Bandai Hobby Siite-exclusive because fuck you). By the way, it probably isn't shocking in any way, but Unicorn dominated the merchandise sales for 2012. Despite the relatively small number of MGs, the HGUCs helped it along to take the crown.

Obviously SEED followed it up, plenty of SEED MGs of course, but also because no one was buying all but a handful of AGE shit (primarily AGE-2 variants and good guy grunts); the Legillis actually did rather shitty for a Gundam (ZEHART-SAMA). The most popular AGE kits are the AGE-2 Double Bullet and Dark Hound, with the Clanches, Genoaces and Shadolls following; the AGE-3 Orbital and FX did ok too, but beyond that it drops rather substantially, with the Vagian MS doing really bad. The HG 1/144s we're seeing now are, in all probability, the last of the AGE line before it is cast into the darkest reaches; I don't think those AGE-3 and FX MG prototypes will see the production line any time soon, if ever.

I don't really have anything to confirm it with, but Frozen Teardrop will be going until the end of 2014, I believe it to be a little past the 1/3rd mark based on the shoddy translation I can do off 2ch.

And that Episode 6 preview should be up any day now..

Hopefully FA Unicorn doesn't look completely ridiculous in the animated like the model does. Looked pretty cool from the small part in that video though.
