The wait will be painful, but on the positive side, it's pretty much confirmed that it'll be an extended-run of around 90 minutes.

Only questions remaining are if the story changes will continue being a substantial departure from the novels (as they have been since Episode 4, and I think this is likely); the other question being if Full Frontal is Char Aznable in the flesh. While it's known that Full Frontal (a cosmetically-altered, Neo Zeon cybernewtype) was being backed by the PM of the Republic of Zeon in the novels as part of a plot. The conspicious lack of the RoZ forces in Ep. 6 leaves open the possibility they're going to make Full Frontal the real deal.. unless they pushed them into Ep. 7 for the last battle at Industrial 7. And if he ends up being the real deal, I guess they're going to have Nanai Miguel make a cameo.. probably Sayla as well. Amuro is dead, but the Nu Gundam's wreckage is still around; though if it's really Char, i'm sure he'll have a Newtype vision of him.

They'll probably do it as close to the novel as possible, then do a movie alittle ways down the line that sort of retcons the ending of Unicorn(like the Zeta movies) where Full Frontal is actually Char and Amuro is somehow still alive somewhere(cause they have him listed as MIA for whatever reason) and then we can see Char and Amuro fight again in more advanced suits to please the UC fanboys.

I'm reasonably certain that if Amuro survived the Nu overloading, that nigga is comatose. They wouldn't have to do something so ridiculous as Amuro out of nowhere either; Unicorn is printing money as it is, lol.

So, the new MS that Full Frontal is viewing with Zinnerman, it looks kind of like the Nightingale. The fuel tanks and rear skirt placement are kind of signatures; maybe it's a Katoki take on the old Izubutchi art (compare the Hi-Nu art with the MG version he redesigned the Hi-Nu for back in 2007).

The only thing that might suggest otherwise is the giant, bulbous (or lackthereof on the MS we've seen) crotch; but I can easily see Katoki drastically reducing it, as it does kind of seem odd.

Bandai Hobby's March schedule is up, nothing really noteworthy other than some of the 00 HG 1/100s going back into production for the first time since last year:

    Our suffering continues, friends.

Also, HLJ is trying to move their remaining stock of those 1/100 AGE kid-friendly kits and Robot Damashiis; if you wanted a 1/100 Genoace or Gafran, they're cheaply avaibile (80% off). Only things that might even get (mercifully) bought are the Genoace and Gafran, honestly; if you wanted something to go along with the MG AGE-1 or AGE-2.

http://www.hlj.com/product/FTB46469 If you're a SEEDfag, it's like the UC books with lineart and technical drawings and information (but less detailed as far as technical stuff due to retcons); probably going to be a SEED Destiny Mechanics book at the end of summer, when the remaster is largely done (as far as CE-MSV cameos or whatever). If you think you want to grab a copy, probably best to do so soon; HLJ is low and others' stocks are gone.

http://www.hlj.com/product/FTB46472 The AGE series got a mechanics compendium too, surprisingly; same stuff as the UC books, but with fuckloads of AGE wears.

GG is doing a lineart coloring contest; prizes are unknown right now, but if you want free shit: http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2013/0...or-scheme.html

https://twitter.com/Vertical_Ed/stat...61137344888833 Finally, The Origin Vol. 2's print run is locking as per the tweet soon; I guess the number of preorders is half of Vol. 1. Time for unfettered capitalism/price-gouging when they go quickly out-of-print. Neither Amazon nor Right Stuf charge until they ship; so if you want a copy, get it done.

The Gundam Breaker demo is out on the JP PSN, 1.1 GB.

You can customize pretty much everything (some limitations on the outlandish shit, namely in weaponry); your unholy abomination can even get gloss coating or weathering if you want.

    http://www.desmondchieng.com/ikeda-s...am-the-origin/

Ikeda Shuichi reveals on saturday that an animated Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin will be coming on 2014. Ikeda Shuichi made a stage appearance at the recent C3 x Hobby 2013 in Hong Kong, sharing his thoughts & experience in voice acting the role of Char Aznable/Full Frontal and other stuffs.

Here’s a summary of the interview (which I translated from CyberGundam’s blog. Yes, I am a chinese in case if you’re wondering ^^; )

    - Ikeda said this was his first time in Hong Kong and was happy to be able to taste different kinds of wine and he loves the abalone dish in Hong Kong.

    - It was interesting that when he was asked if there were any difference playing the part of Char Aznable & Full Frontal. He said that there is not much difference because Full Frontal is the 2nd coming of Char. However, he did mentioned that the feeling when voice acting for Full Frontal is different due to the more advanced voice recording technology ( Compared to 30 years ago when he voiced Char Aznable).

    - As expected, He says that his favorite character/MS is still Mobile Suit Gundam’s Char Aznable and the MS-06S Zaku II Char’s Custom.

    - He likes the songs/soundtracks from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and appreciates that he was able to participate in the works of various Gundam series for the past 30 years.

    - Ikeda performed live voice acting with 林保全, another voice actor from Hong Kong who voiced Amuro Ray in the Cantonese dub version of “Mobile Suit Gundam”. (Note: 林保全 is also famous for voice acting Doraemon in Cantonese dub version.)

    - He looks forward to the last Gundam UC episode 7 that is set to be released in Spring 2014.

    - At the end, he told everyone that 2014 will be Gundam’s 35th Anniversary, thus an animated Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin will be released on 2014.

At this point, maybe it's time to just give these away for free; I doubt their insulating value exceeds the aura of failure that persists around them:
    Spoiler: show
These were originally produced back in 2011, and are still unsold.

If you chose to Blu-Ray it for Ep. 6, RightStuf began shipping out last night.

The Origin Vol. 1 drops on the 26th; if you did not pre-order, and have come to regret this unfortunate decision, Amazon will likely be the safe bet (only one to order any substantial amount of copies beyond pre-orders). We're probably looking at 3-4 volumes a year going forward (and the price will apparently hover around 20 or less/volume); very reasonable for a quality release.

Via Great Mechanics DX24, Morosawa never felt SEED/CE needed the in-depth dates, times, and other world-building details of UC and 00 (though often presented as minor on-screen details or distilled into very basic stuff on-screen) in official books. So don't expect anything to change for the better (moving forward with CE) in that regard, is what i'm trying to get at; AGE decided to go this route too for what its worth. On the subject of SEED, for whatever is possible, there are some SEED and Destiny-MSV that will make cameos in the Destiny Remaster (probably mass-production variants, based on the TL;DR). Probably don't expect any HGs or anything, but the return of the B-Club resin conversion kits/some third-party sculpted kits is possible.

How much content is in the Gundam Breaker demo? Going to try it out this weekend.

As for the AGE toys they should have created a low set amount just in case the popularity doesn't kick in. If it does then start making more, if not then there wouldn't be that problem.

Like 5 levels and 10 or so MS (broken down into parts). With some work, this might be da bes ever.

In retrospect, yeah. But Hino and Bandai both bought into their own hype: they actually thought the AGE games would sell a million copies. That isn't a typo. I can only imagine what their expectations were for toys, let alone model kits (MG AGE-2 Double Bullet in June, by the way). I'm really questioning their decisions to do that special edition shit as well; the high-school shit was the worst part of the 2nd arc: heavily panned outside of the retard /a/ crowd internationally and at home. It really didn't do a whole lot besides waste episodes.

    ZABINE!

    Spoiler: show
June release. Guess this is their failsafe plan to cover the AGE-2 DB release probably not selling great.

Seems like a good time for this then:
    Spoiler: show

The eventual X-3 will include the Muramasa Blaster from the Full Cloth release, and forearm covers similar to the Shining Gundam's for the I-fields. Anti-Beam Cloak as well of course. On the subject of ABCs, I don't know for sure yet, but I bet the X-2 announcement will make it guaranteed the resin "dynamic" ABC is recasted for sure (looks like a cross of the X-2 seen at the start of the above video, and the RD Crossbones).

    Also: http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?q...2_BAN&gb=scale

Another HLJ sale. 1/100s, mostly SEED; 1/144s on sale have a ton of HGUCs (and AGE, of course).

Episode 7 was brought up in Great Mechanics DX24 and there is a more detailed picture of what Episode 7 will have in store:

-Republic of Zeon will finally make their on-screen appearence: the Defense Minister is supposed to be Full Frontal's foot-in-the-door there. Hopefully they still have the Hizacks, Sturm Diases, and other MS from previous Zeon factions (if the Sleeves don't).
-Watch for Banshee Norn Destroy Mode, major transformation with the Armed Armor DE and XC; rotary launcher has more surprises in the tubes (nuke?).
    Spoiler: show
Armed Armor XC: In contrast to the DE, it is an external psycoframe augment that was exclusively developed. In addition to enhancing generator output, it is considered to improve compatibility of the psycommu with the pilot. It only displays its real abilities when linked to the NT-D but details are unclear.

-The Kshatryia Besserung's completed form. Marida is still alive, as opposed to the novels; the Kshatryia was also crippled back in Episode 3 because they had originally intended for it to be done with.
-Full Frontal's new MS (yes, they're calling it an MS, for now anyway).
-Many "familiar" and "uncommon" MS from the Gryps Conflict (Zeta) through U.C. 0096 (Barzam and Doven-Wolf, please). UC-MSV units are slated to appear; pretty much tacit confirmation that Gael will use a Silver Bullet as opposed to the novels. MSV ships will also appear (Nelson and Trafalgar-class?).

    That's funny. You're funny.

Nope. It would be awesome though if it did, but Bandai kinda sees Gundam dead in the west...regardless of imported Gundam goods to the west.
