By the way, I got two B-Club original resin kits late last week in the midst of the end of XIV's phase 3 beta: 1/100 Domuttlia, and a 1/100 Bawoo (thanks again to Tatsu).

The Domuttlia is almost fitted; still have to pin (and glue), fill seams (putty), and then prime -> paint. I don't know if i'll attack the Bawoo just yet; i'd like to wait on Episode 7 to see if it offers up any new Bawoo colors or whatever.

I've been too lazy or preoccupied to finish the XM-10/F-97E Flint conversion as well (i've been dreading cutting and planing these damn styrene tubes for the X-thrusters..). And I have two X2s; look forward to my attempt to convert one into the X2ex (the Jupiter Empire rebuild after Tobia jacks the Core Fighter). Gotta build that buster launcher.

And uh, sorry for pretty much not bumping the thread/updating it; sorta consumed by the XIV beta and other shit - not much else going on right now either (Destiny Remaster doesn't count).

By the way, this shit is apparently designed to make cloth become stiff enough to "pose" and paint. Definitely going to utilize it for those "dynamic" appearances of the Anti-Beam Cloaks of the Crossbones.

HobbyFan got some 1/100 GM Cannon II conversion kits in, and the non-SMS version of the HWS resin add-on for the Nu Ver. Ka. Tatsu Hobby expects those Unicorn Ver. MG Marasais in on the week of the 12th barring any complications; they've also got some other shit coming in (but I didn't remember to ask what, probably the most recent Builders Parts).

There's also been rumors circulating that we'll be seeing some 1/100 scale resin kits (and conversions) of non-Gundams from Victory, Wing, and SEED at Comiket 84 this year. Maybe that Strike Dagger based on the Remaster Strike Gundam will materialize.

Oh and the MG Crossbone Gundam X-2 sold pretty well (as probably everyone thought it would), so expect a X-2ex (the Jupiter Empire rebuild after Tobia jacks the Core Fighter) or even an X-3 in the near future.

Vol. 3 releases on September 17th, Vol. 4 releases on December 10th and Vol. 5 is a March 11th, 2014 release.

Also, Tatsu Hobby expects that weapons pack (Gundam Hammer, Hyper Bazooka, LED, Beam Javelin, etc.) to arrive the same week as they get their first allotment of MG Gundam 3.0s in (ballparking it for the last week of August, they release on Aug. 8th); can e-mail them to reserve ahead or roll the dice on it selling out when it goes up on the site.

Only November's MG is unknown now.

RG Strike Freedom in November. Gundam G-3 3.0 likely being announced as a online shop exclusive in early September. Rezin's blue Geara Doga drops in October (online shop exclusive). Strike Rouge Ver. RM with the Phoenix equipment in September. Proto-Wing Zero Ver. EW in October.


We've probably got one more online shop exclusive in the barrel too, but it could likely be anything (X-3, an actual Doga variant, etc.).

Moving on, please take this with a huge fucking grain of salt (I certainly am), but November's MG: RGM-89 Jegan (CCA Ver.). To clarify, this is the RGM-89A, the first production model of Jegan; the A2 of Unicorn will be a pretty easy modified variant for another kit later, and of course there's the D and De (ECOAS) variants. There's also the Stark Jegans, A-derived prototypes (with a twin-seat cockpit), and D-type base production models.

And you've got the final Jegan J/M/R variants of F90 and F91. The DEW and ST-2 recon variants will probably never get a kit; probably a B-Club or third-party conversion if we're lucky.

In terms of cannonicity, it is pretty dubious. But yeah, it's a G-DOME short CGI movie; there's also ReBawoo in it too (its explained as being Full Frontal's intended unit before they were informed about the Sinanju by pro-Zeon elements inside Anaheim). Taking place in U.C. 0094 kinda makes it eyeroll-territory, given Unicorn so far.

It's pretty much just a way for them to milk the Unicorn when it comes down to it. Though, if there is an upside, I guess it would be that it comes with two Armed Armor DEs (shields in back) with the green psycoframe for people who might have a need/use for them.

Very limited numbers of a new third-party (this year) 1/100 Resin Xamel kit supposedly going to be for sale today at the start of Comiket 84. Obviously, there's some (expensive) implications here.

Also, August 15th U.C. 0069 marks the founding day of the Principality of Zeon, when it transitioned from being the Republic of Zeon and marks the conclusion of the purging of Zeon Zum Deikun (father of Casval (Char) and Artesia (Sayla)) loyalists from Side 3. Sasro Zabi is killed during the violence of the purge, and Dozle sustains his trademark scars during this time as well.

The October 2013 issue of Great Mechanics DX will have a Unicorn Ep. 7 article and interview with staff; some Doven Wolf and other anticipated Gryps-First Neo Zeon War-era MS discussion as well.

I don't expect them to really tip their hand just yet on the MS rosters aside from the Doven Wolf, seems like January preview trailer hype material.

MG Proto-Wing Zero EW will be on display at C3xHobby. It looks like C3 will again have some great resin Gundam stuff: from SEED comes the Strike Dagger conversion for the Strike Gundam Ver. RM and some 1/100 ZAFT MS like the GINN and GOUF Ignited; Wing has the 1/100 Maganac with custom optional parts (i've heard this was primarily sculpted off B-Club's resin 1/100 Leo from a couple years back); and obviously there's the officially licensed resin Volks 1/100 V2 Gundam. And the 1/100 Xamel.

November's MG is still unknown and we will likely find out in mid-September; Geara Zulu, Jegan, or V2 Bandai - don't fucking drop the ball on us now.

Where's the proof that Volks is making the 1/100 Xamel? I can't find references to it.

Not Volks; some other third-party. I haven't found anything besides a short text and price (39,000 Yen). No one really seems to know much about them - they may even be associated with a Korean team based on the scant info around. I'd like to find out more.. even if the kit has issues.
