So, October's Unicorn and other stuff..

Prismatic Mobiles and the Across the Sky manga:
    -Mass Production Z Gundam
    -Mass Production ZZ Gundam
    -Mass Production Hyaku-Shiki Kai
    -Nouvel GM III

All at an Anaheim MS storage and mothballs facility in Von Braun City.

MG Crossbone X3 has two new runners; the manual (like the X2) will conain a detailed technical description and history of the suit (which is probably going to be "definitive"). Also to-scale teenage Tobia (in-cockpit and standing) and Tetenith Dogatie figures.

Is Gundam AGE worth watching at all? It's one of the few (only?) dubbed Gundam series I haven't seen.

It's better than the SEEDs, but that isn't saying much. Suffers from really poor writing and rather stupid plot at times (minor characters eating several episodes up, or characters outright disappearing forever at the end of a generation; also it becomes starkly evident that there is a good deal of poorly thought out things concerning Mars Rays and Second Moon) that wasted a fair amount of potential (and was too ambitious for the 50-episode length). You will also want to fucking murder the 3rd main protagonist.

It just ends up being a below-average to average series for most.

The Sazabi Ver. Ka./2.0 will be coming with the (though slightly redesigned) hi-beam rifle that was originally an CCA-MSV armament and old B-Club resin add-on.

That MG X needs to come with an X Divider switchable backpack.

Like I know Bandai won't do that, and will make us pay for it separately, but a man can dream.

Bandai representative working the floor said that we will see how they've already considered the X Divider rebuild parts for future release - they either meant the runners, or the kit itself (especially the internals).

It's coming with to-scale Garrod and Tiffa figures, by the way. No Jamil. Also, the hands are like those on the Wing kits (posable thumbs, fixed fingers that can be swapped).

Jamil will probably come with the X Divider release then, since he flew it first iirc and then it pretty much became his suit. Honestly more excited about the prospect of a MG Double X if this is popular, that suit is just lovely looking.

Jamil's X ended up being recovered and used to help the New U.N.E create the Double X (mainly overcoming the Newtype-requirement for the flash system via Jamil's own recorded brainwaves); Garrod's X is a second unit (of three that are known to have survived damaged or intact). MG Double X would be pretty likely, moreso than a Jenice, Bertigo or Virsago/Ashtaron (or any mass-production models).

At least, if nothing else, the online exclusive avenue makes it more likely we could see a Leopard or Airmaster; it's not a new HG 1/100 line of stuff unlikely to get a MG but it's better than nothing at-fucking-all. I'd really like to see if we get one of the Bit MS (GX or G-Bit DOME) as a conversion kit out of this; those things were such a nifty concept that kind of only appeared two other times (Turn A and 00) to some degree.

Well I was more so going with the basis that Jamil first piloted that Gundam X unit when the Divider upgrades were put in since Carris fucked it up before that, pretty sure when the upgrade was done and then Carris came by again Jamil told Garrod "no I got this" and wrecked him. Then Garrod used it for abit until they found the Double X. My memory of the pacing is off, I don't remember exactly how many episodes Garrod even uses the Divider until they find the Double X(think the newtype dolphin episode was one of them?)

And I actually have not watched Builders, is it decent so far?

I gotta say, I was never a big fan of the Sazabi, but that MG kit has me pretty excited. And it looks huge!

Came in real hella late but:

    First Gen: 6/10
    Second Gen 9/10
    Third Gen, First Half: 7/10
    Third Gen, Second Half: WTF/10

You will exit the series wondering why you wasted your time, simply because of the series finale. I guarantee it.

Noone ever likes the "WE CAN'T KILL PEOPLE" dynamic of Gundam. It takes really good writing to make it work, and that rarely ever happens. The only ones that come off as likable are Loran from Turn A and I guess Lowe from Astray, and even then it's only because they choose not to do it first and only kill if there is literally no other option, unlike Kio. But Turn A is a well written anime unlike AGE so that probably helps.

Kira turned to absolute shit, Relena is annoying, Kio went from kinda likable to insufferable cause of it(him not killing Zanald after FINALLY making Deen understand, the entire purpose of his being, and then having Deen killed infront of him is one of the worst scenes in that entire show). The only way it works is if it's the main character AND the writing is on par, and even then they need to realize that some killing has to happen.

Yep. 00 at least was "flexible" here (the end goal being "understanding"), so that definitely left CB room to kill the obstructing Innovades and their puppets (if necessary; and it was necessary often - but never outright or wanton killing). They even had some hypocripsy there to muddy the waters in S1. Turn A approached it pretty good as well; being well written and not forever offensively bad helps. Gundam 0079 did it really well too: Amuro probably would have preferred to take Ramba Ral and Hamon prisoner (than what their fates ultimately ended up being, right before his eyes - that mercy also lead to Ryu's sacrifice and more internal strife for Amuro).

I wonder if the Layton and other Level 5 series are good in spite of Hino being involved - based on his work in AGE, that nigga is bad. Not Morosawa bad, but pretty bad.

Morosawa will need actual effort to pass in the bad category. Literally everything somewhat decent about SEED she destroyed for Destiny. Like AGE was bad, but Destiny is such a shitshow. I'm sure they use that series as an example of what not to do in making anime.
