Edelwiess whats your recommended brand of paint for gunpla? Or anyone else for that matter.
Acryllics: Tamiya, Vallejo, Floquil or Model Master's (both Testors).
Enamels: Model Master's (only one I can get on a regular basis).
Lacquers: Tamiya, Gunze Sanyo, Gaia Notes (probably difficult to find reliably outside of Japan), and Alclad (more their metallics than anything, including their buffabble line that you polish with a cloth after curing).
You guys ever buy gunpla from amazon? Was going to buy some things from Tatsu again but noticed some of them have prime. Wouldn't mind getting that new HG Wing Saturday than next week.
Still haven't built that EZ8 I got back in may because a mountain of backlog from everything and work.
Sometimes, though I usually get droppers, needles, and other stuff (like gel food coloring to mix with Future) in bulk on Amazon. It's usually a "oh hey, I could use (x kit) for something" deal.
I haven't ordered kits, but I have ordered supplies (primer, topcoat, tape, etc) and action bases from Amazon.
As far as paints go, I'm currently using Golden, Medea, and Createx, mostly because that's what I can find locally, but also because they don't need to be thinned to use with an airbrush (and I suck at thinning paints..).
If the kit has prime I get from amazon otherwise i go to hlj or tatsu. I also didnt even realize that hlj did anime figure preorders till i looked at their home page the other day.
HG Wing arrived. Not sure why I was expecting to have a bit more runners, but hey it's simple enough to build. Got ZoE HD and FMP! 2nd Raid too, fun weekend.
Now to feel like a kid again messing with Wing Gundam.
Anectodal, but i've heard the Build Fighters line is doing pretty good, so if things continue Bandai will be swimming in even more money (between Unicorn doing so very well, SEED doing good, and now GBF).
Better than fucking AGE did, by comparison.
Also, rumor mill says there's no February MG (the Gundam X is January's).
What are the chances of a PG of the Unicorn? The LED possibilities seem endless.
Always high I guess by virtue of being a really popular lead MS (plus the sheer ease of reusing the majority of the parts for a Banshee). The NT-D mode would be rather complex though, since it has to fit those sliding and moving parts (plus locking them in place) over an inner frame, ontop of incorporating LED wiring (or maybe not, LED insertable/integrated "pods" at exposed frame locations); if they pulled it off though it'd probably the most fucking complex model kit ever produced.
They pulled the Zeta off over a decade ago, so i'm sure it's within their ability now to do so if/when they do it.
I'm always disappointed that the PG Zeta lacks most of the other weapons like the grenade launcher and a few others.
I got an e-mail from GSAM; I guess whatever problems they were having are resolved and they're back up and running again.

Taking a crack at panel lining for the first time. Here's my first completed part
Is this Looking good so far? Also yes shity cell phone image.
I'd say it looks great, there's no visible smears or anything, and the lines aren't really thick; what are you using to line with? If it's a non-paint marker you may encounter some issues with running/other funky shit when top-coating (probably lacquer; it's "hotter" chemically I guess).
Also, nigga you got some hairy ass arms.
Toothpicks ala a guide I found on youtube.
Also my hands really do look like this right now just not as colorfull.
