First off, isn't the GP04 the Gerbera Tetra, because if so, zomg, I'm excited!
Second what exactly is this new line? Have they said if it is going to be comparable to MGs or what?

It's the Gerbera Gundam that the Tetra was made from. The line seems to be mobile suits that are from novels or illustration and lore that are official enough to warrant a kit.
Consensus is that the line combines the details - not necessarily the styling - of the RG line and 1/100 scale of the MG line. It's HG meaning imagine the larger HGUCs in terms of articulation and features.
So yes or no on inner frames? My interest in this line is entirely dependent on inner frames..
That has yet to be determined but I would imagine quasi-inner frames to hold the largest armour pieces like the HGUC The O or the new Neo Zeong. It's over night in Japan right now and the leak is just one grainy picture so far. More details in about 6-7 hours.

Don't really care though, hi2u MG Hi Nu Ver Ka:

I'm shocked that they finally debuted the 1/100 near-MG line for MS/MA that will never get a MG after almost two and a half years of it being in the works. And yes, this line will have pseudo inner-frames (and unique gimmicks if a suit has them; so maybe a Full Armor add-on for that Mk. III). They're basically like the 00 1/100s, but even closer to a MG (albeit maybe more like an early-mid 2000s MG). They also sort of have the serious Gundam fan in mind with the pricing (so basically people who actually care that there's forthcoming kits for the Nightingale, etc.). B-Club, you're out of a job.
The Hi-Nu Ver. Ka. is more or less a slightly Katoki-detailed version of Izubuchi's original Hi-Nu, with those thunderous calves (which are something i'm admittedly fond of). His redesign already has a MG. A hyper mega bazooka launcher (that connected to the Ra Cailum's reactor and was used to rape Axis in the novel) is apparently coming as an online exclusive weapon set add-on (with some effect parts I guess).
Since a number of things have happened this year, let's just say December is the MG V2. There. Now we can have some hopes dashed still, in traditional MG fashion.

You'll pay more for shipping than the kit itself

Not if I hold out for the RE/100 Neo Zeong! Then i'll be paying for twice the value of the kit itself.
The kit looks so plain. I know it's just an HG, but it's so big, I feel that it just makes the lack of detail stand out. Also, those fuel tanks are awful. Seem like they should have "Shoot me for big boom" painted on them..
I'm clamouring for a RE/100 Xamel...
You are not alone in this. Just imagine it now..
Also Beltorchika's Children is getting a manga adaption in Gundam ACE as some current series are wrapping up; that little color promo at the feet of the Nightingale isn't for an animation adaptation (there is some confusion among the fans about this).
Episode 7 is out on PSN in the US now. Must resist growing temptation..........
I know that feel..
Just got done watching it.

Really good finish. I have no plans to marathon this at all, but I think it's obvious that doing so will really give a full experience of how good Unicorn was. Plus, the ending wasn't anywhere near as frustrating and stupid as the Gundam 00 series.

Episode was fuckin sweet. First 25 min were pure mech porn. The Scherzum Galluss or whatever it was.. good god that scene was masterfully done.
