They are.
They are.
God Hand nippers are far sharper than any other availible; they also leave virtually no nubs (reducing time spend sanding and trimming; in addition if you don't paint, they're far less likely to make visible plastic stress marks when cutting the proper way). They require caution when using since they go through plastic like butter, and they'll eventually start to dull after 45 MG kits or so in my experience. It takes some adjustment when using these, as you want to apply as little force as possible (you'll also want to strictly use them for removing parts from runners/trimming off nubs).
Additionally, like all steel tools, you'll need to care for them as well (I regularly spray them with WD-40 to ward off rust after each use; I also store my tools with silica gel packets too). The gel part is probably excessive, but the WD-40 sprayings are the most basic and easy preventive measures you can take to ensure tool longevity.
Where can I see the new Fenice kit that you mentioned is coming out? Is it a HG or MG? I'd like to see it but can't find it
nvm found it. whoever made that likes delonge style panel lines jesus christ. looks good, can't see much difference
Dalong just does those super dark and thick lines for reviews. They're cleaned up heavily or outright redone afterwards.
Made a bit of progress on my first one.
Spoiler: show
I'm finding that HG pieces are sometimes way to small for me to work with so I'll probably do MG next. Thinking about this one atm:

<_< Was hoping the size upgrade would help with that, but not so huh?
Going to have to get cross action tweezers I guess if you're having problems with small parts.
You might also want to make it a point to research your kits beforehand via http://dalong.net.
I mean I was able to work with them, just found a few small bits to be annoying. But if I run into more of it in the future it's not a huge deal.
Also first one complete. Minus decals and small touch ups. Haven't gotten around to that stuff yet.
Spoiler: show
If you like the Red Frame, there's a new Blue Frame MG that's coming out soon. As far as I know, there's been no indication it's going to be a P-Bandai.
Spoiler: show
Probably going to be the next kit I purchase.
Finally made my first purchase through HLJ. Been wanting to order but shit always not in stock or backordered.
Got the K9 GM and Gouf custom coming soon. Hope it includes some good hg wep customize kits
Btw all this gundam stuff is making me want to watch the recent gundams I've missed. Already did Unicorn. Whats the word on Seed, Seed Destiny, and AGE? Also why are AGE models so cheap? Does it suck?
japan fucking loves seed but it sucks. they ffx that shit. easily one of the worst final fantasies but JP cannot get over it.
go watch build fighters. it's silly but has good action scenes.
Not sure if I have any interest in Gundam Yugioh :/
Maybe if I get more freetime.
it's definitely not that.
build fighters is amazing. dark exia... wing fenice... star build strike..
