This show is ULTRA Tomino. Like King Gainer Tomino. I had to re-watch the first part of episode 1 to understand what was going on after watching episode 2. There are two factions in that scene, which is not readily apparent. The military of the far future is bad at controlling cheerleaders. I am okay with this. I'd like to see a bit less crying from Aida, but hopefully she'll Onee-san up here shortly, especially once she gets G-Arcane. Bell is amazing. Two episodes and he's already killing bitches. I loved the "Are you listening?" "No, your question was boring" banter he had with the instructor. Also holy crap at the lax security. Just up and let the brain damaged girl be a cheerleader because why the fuck not? This random kid can pilot the pirate's suit? Let him use it!

I'm not complaining. I am going to enjoy the fuck out of this.

My friend couldn't wait and grabbed the 5gb transport stream right when it went up, so I decided to race him for no reason. Ended up watching ep1-2 raw. I'm currently downloading Zeta so I can try to catch up on the UC timeline in order to better enjoy this.

It's set after the UC timeline so there really isn't any need to.

Assuming they don't pull some shit like Turn A and convolutedly after-the-fact try to make it so all of Gundam flows into Turn A's timeline. Except then actually make those UC series crucial to understand some plot element or whatever.

Anyway, when Bandai debuts the GP-04 RE/100 early next year, we're going to get announcements on their next plans for the line (we won't be getting anything besides the Gundam Mk.III's physical debut in November, though that's more than enough besides the December MG). Nightingale has done pretty well. Maybe we'll finally have an official 1/100 Kshatriya. A Psyco Gundam would be incredible too, and probably not terribly hard to engineer in 2015, considering their other feats.

Perhaps because it's ULTRA Tomino it's really only Gundam in name. His universes have all sorts of strange details that feel inconsequential. Turn-A started out very much like how we are seeing it now; which was more character, even if they are slightly one dimensional at times.

It's not the Sunrise formula as we know it. I'm willing to bet they'll let Tomino run with it however he wants as long as GBFT is on air at the same time. That's the cameo/mecha porn show.

Well, I was expecting them to announce something else at NYC Comic-Con, but this also works.

And lol, to think they basically had this fucking Turn A sub done years ago, and it might have actually gone to waste. I wonder if those ZZ subs are going to be the same ones from Daisuki.

They're doubtfully dubbing any of these older series, though maybe they'll dub G-Reco (or just do subs and release it) and the like through NYAV Post, since that dub was breddy good. NYAV Post is doing the dub for The Origin films, so there's that.

Also we're about a month away from getting no MG V2 in December. ;D The G-Self should be showing up as a MG next February probably (unless they do a dual release month or something).

I purchased my very first RG kit yesterday. Wow is all I can say. The product value of these kits is well beyond anything else I have bought since I picked this hobby up again. Even the box screams quality. The instructions are detailed as hell. I can not wait to put some work on it this weekend.

I am a bit miffed that the Burning Gundam name seems to have become officially canon but the Build Burning Gundam is all about dat fire so shut my mouth I guess.
