Gunpla Expo is the end-of-year/season and championship event for a year's Gunpla model contests.

It's basically the cherry in a sundae though, as it's relatively minor compared to all the physical debuts and announcements.

Well, after the Gundam Mk. III, the only other RE/100 is the GP-04 in it's originally planned Gundam form.

Yeah, a Kshatriya is pretty likely at some point since Unicorn printed money and the RE/100 line seems to be a hit so far with the Nightingale. I guess it'd probably be as good a candidate for the fourth RE/100 as any other MS, or whenever they move towards not-only-MSV MS.

I'd love to see some Mobile Armors in the line eventually though, even the Zakrello. Would much rather see an Elmeth, Big Zam, or Bigro (especially since these were put into mass-production on a limited scale, you know that means my OCD compels me to buy 3-4 Bandai) if they had to make it from 0079.

Would love to see some of the old Zeta MS get RE like the Hambrari, Gaplant and Gabthley since getting MGs seems unlikely since Hambrari and Messala just got HG kits in the last year or so.

The Hambrabi and Gabthley have significant transformation mechanisms involved, which is perhaps what's held back a MG out of concern for sales/popularity for an inherently more costly kit. For whatever it's worth, there is already existing moulds for the Fedayeen Rifle and Sea Serpent weapons, courtesy of the MG Marasai (Unicorn ver.). The Hambrabi wields both of them, and the Gabthley uses the Fedayeen Rifle as it's primary weapon. Also I actually forgot to mention this, but the Hambrabi also has five mono-eyes distributed around the upper body, which probably also raises the unique difficulty in a hypothetical MG.

The Gaplant I guess is perhaps a matter of size, and more likely the fact there's a probably going to have to be two or three diecast metal parts or something in the abdomen to ensure that single joint (and whatever it connects to) that enables the transformation doesn't fucking fail and ruin everything. That flight booster would probably end up as a P-Bandai item too (fuck). The Messala falls into the same category I guess.

Also, after thinking about it and looking at the animation again, the Asshimar is probably a great candidate for a transformable RE/100; it uses a series of movable blocks on a drum frame and adding in the frame of a modern MG would probably make it really costly/fragile. The design lends itself well to what the RE/100 line aims to accomplish. It's also not exceedingly large. I guess maybe there's potential for an Anksha out of it too, but that would basically be an entirely new kit, polycaps aside.

I guess the overall pictue though, is that there's a ton of MS from UC alone that will probably not be recieving MGs for one reason or another. And that list got somewhat longer with Unicorn, raising the question of if the RE/100 line was to actually put these all in 1/100 form, what would it mean for the Master Grade line as Bandai's flagship? When you factor in all the other series, it looks like an impossible task to put them all into kit form.

Next RG is the 00 Gundam.
MG Exia Dark Matter in February, MG Double X Gundam in March. P-Bandai MGs: the other two Zeta Gundams from the Evolve 9 short, Dozle's Dom, Banshee Norn (Awakened).
The next entry in the RE/100 line, after the GP04 Gundam Gerbera, is the Dijeh (also a floor rep says that the RE/100 line will be focused on UC, so..).
Bunch of G-Reco HGs, as well as GBFT HGs. The HG Z-Plus A1 in Amuro's colors is unfortunately an Expo exclusive; the V-Dash and V2 Assault-Buster are the next HGUCs. The HG Origin line kicks off with The Origin's Guntank and Zaku II.

The finalized production Gundam Mk. III makes it's debut, and we see a prototype of the GP04. There's also early show floor pics of the PG Unicorn.

Friday is the first public day and a PG Unicorn demonstration. Saturday will see the debut of the December MG (and I guess some teaser about January, Wing MG month).

I'd be happy if there was a reliable parts service period.. Got 2 kits sitting around waiting for replacements, and 2 others that I can't move forward on because of those two..

Yes; their prices aren't really even different (unless, like the Norn, they include more runners).

Then again, a lot of this is to blame on the fact they haven't seemed to have gotten that P-Bandai coverage extended to North America yet.
