Drugs Test, incoming, possibly...

I know there has been a thread similar to this before, but i wasn't sure if that was focused on ingested weed.

So... I applied for an apprenticeship in engineering close to where i live, i aced the assessment stage and have now been forwarded to the final interview stage.

The interview will take place on Thursday the 16th of June at 9:00AM. I found out today (from a guy that failed his) that if i am successful in the interview, i will be expected to take a drugs test..

Now, up until Saturday night i haven't touched weed for 3+ years. On Saturday out of nowhere my buddy comes in putting this piece of cake in my face, saying check out this cake my mum made (Ginger cake btw, i love anything ginger, ginger beer, ginger bread etc etc) So i take a bite and the smell of weed is overwhelming, but a welcome smell if i'm honest, so i ate the piece. It was probably about 5cm³ in size, i can't say how much weed was in it, it tasted strong, but it would be impossible to say how much. I felt a little bit stoned, but nothing major.

So basically, i ate a small amount of weed on saturday the 4th of june, possibilty of a drugs test as early as the 16th of june, should i be worried? Is there anything i can do if so?

how much body fat do you have? if you're relatively skinny -- start chugging lots of water daily to try to clean it out... if you're a fatty, from everything i've been told, you're fucked for at least a month.

Yes. Marijuana can stay in your system for a varying amount of time. Any idea what kind of drug test? Urine? Blood? Hair? Hypnosis?

I would try to sweat out, drink a lot of water, and you are still worried buy some certo at the store. Drink one bottle of water, fill it up with more water, squeeze one pack of certo in there and drink that plus another bottle of water, piss once before the test and you should be OK

Its a urine test afaik, im 5.7 and weigh about 180lbs so a pretty chunky guy and its a safe to say not much of its muscle. Just wish i had the convo with the guy a few days earlier ffs... or i wouldn't have touched the stuff, its pretty much unheard of for companies to carry out these kind of tests around here so...

Hey kids, drug testing is basically mandatory for any job interview nowadays. Lay off the weed next time. Well, your friend is kind of a dick for shoving weed in your face during an interview process for you, not that your own error in judgment is much better.

Also, you're probably not quite as fucked as you think you might be. If you're not a regular user of weed, it should be harder to detect depending on the type of test you'll be given.

Oral ingestion

Oral ingestion produces a much different THC blood profile than smoking. Instead of peaking sharply, THC rises gradually over a couple of hours to a plateau of around 5 - 10 ng/ml in plasma, then declines (see blue curve in Figure 5).

Basically, something you could possibly pass off as a poppy seed bagel if you test positive. If you want to be really sure about it, go to a bagel place that sells 'em, buy a couple (don't eat these), throw the bagels away and keep the receipt. Casually keep it in your car or wallet if you are asked about it before the test or notified of a failure.

I smoked fairly heavily last spring and ate an entire fucking plate of brownies (never again) about a week before I had to take a drug test I didn't know would be required. I'm pretty damn skinny, but it was a hair test. Somehow passed.

To be fair, up until now i have never heard of anyone undergo a drugs test for a job at all around where I'm from, which is why its a shitty circumstance to be in, especially based on my not touching the stuff for years. I can't really defend myself though, I'm responsible, it was my decision to carry on eating it.

If it comes down to it and i don't get the job based on this, yes its going to suck, but life goes on.

oh, forgot to mention. What I think happened in my case is they were testing for other drugs, IE coke, crack, heroin, etc. There's always a chance of that

Same thing happened to me when I was a young pup, I failed my test. Lesson learned....? Nope, it happened again on a random test, but I passed. I'll never smoke again unless I get a prescription or I move to another country.

Have someone clean piss in a medicine sized bottle. wear tight underwear, have it pressed against your sack. Temperature will check out.

Yea, my brother has a prescription and he still has to have me piss for him. It's legal for him to smoke, but company policy that doesn't allow him to smoke it.
