Not really, His risk is way too high sticking with Louis, my point was him being on team Louis would create a much more volatile situation. Louis would rain shit all over him no matter what, knowing his character, on his side or not it wouldn't matter. Remember, it was even said on that very episode, unlike Harvey, Louis loves the law more than winning.

Well, Louis is more susceptible to bribes but less willing to piss off Harvey (Remember the jail prank episode). Compare that to Harvey who is more rogue and, despite Louis' bangwagon of supporters, the better lawyer.

If Louis ever found out about Mike's secret, he would take it out on Harvey. Louis seems to have learned his lesson, what with the whole Hartman fall out and now loosing the Associates. Sure, he's gonna be pissed, but not at Mike; Harvey continues to be the thorn in his Lion's paw.

I'm sure Louis will find out at one point, and will again back stab Jessica and Harvey, at which point we'll get more back story on Louis as they figure out a way to blackmail him.

Nah, that won't happen. Louis will find out and he'll come up with some diabolical plan to stick it to Harvey. He idolizes Jessica even if he despises how she acts.

And as far as who the better lawyer is it's obviously Louis. The more effective one is Harvey because he's willing to break the rules while Louis isn't.
