No knock against you, I've had plenty of fucked up encounters with cops (biking in an urban neighborhood @ 3am is illegal & a squad of police will come down on you), but those guys had it coming. In this interview by Alex Jones, Adam says they went to the memorial to challenge the officers to a "dance off."
Challenge them to a dance off, because dancing was made illegal you say? Also, what is up with people linking to alex jones?
edit: Actually, that was a pretty reasonable interview. Alex Jones is still an asshole, but still.
So has any more details emerged yet? it's been like 2 weeks.
Wouldn't it take like, months?
Well I know that if I was the police PR group, I'd want to clear up any controversial things asap. Not to mention most of the reports don't even contain any information outside of reckless driver killed after police open fire.
Yeah but that makes too much sense

I hear fire fighters hate cops too and vice versa. At least that's what I learned from rescue me!
Rivalry, or lack of understanding for the bureaucracy and methods undertaken by each group, thinking each one knows best how to accomplish similar goals? Or just because each one wants to be first and thinks the other is getting in their way when they need to be up front.
When the cops came on scene with our fire department, it was in a scene control capacity. They set up a perimeter and took care of traffic control and such. They did not interfere with our operations at all. If we were toned out, it was our call and the cops did what needed to be done to help us. Now, the real problem came when we had multiple tones and a joint effort between departments...that's when feelings got hurt and people got upset when they didn't get to run pump or whatever their "normal" job was on a scene. The incident commander didn't really care what department you were on.
No issues like that up in boston, if police respond to a active fire..... fire chief is in control, even if the police commissioner is on scene lol
