"Whoa!" just seems like the worst thing to put in for physical hits. Perhaps as a guard break response, I could see, or even a throw-tech, but getting punched in the stomach and doubling over = whoa!~?
he looks petrified like his family are going to be shot if he does a bad job about telling us about how awesome dragon ball/z/gt already is

Goku’s Father’s Story Told In Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi
We’ve seen Bardock, Goku’s father, in previous Dragon Ball Z games He even appears in some what-if scenarios. In Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi, Bardock is going to play a bigger role since his story is a key part of the upcoming game.
According to Jump, as a Dragon Ball game first players will be able to fight through Bardock’s story. The magazine also notes the game will have vast fields that you can fly through and certain spots trigger events.
Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 25 in North America and October 28 in Europe. Namco Bandai have the game slated for a winter release in Japan.

Sounds like it has everything Budokai 3 had, which was probably the best.
next year a new company will come and take the DBZ title and repeat the same crap, only have freiza, then cell, then buu, the MAYBE move onto GT or pass it over to a new company so they can do the same.
it's the vicious Dragon Ball Z cycle that seems to happen at least once or twice in a consoles generation.
Watching that video again, its like the entire fight is one long series of loaded quick-time events. Its like nothing but the dragon dash system in Budokai 3, but for the entire game. With pretty graphics. And the same voice quotes from B3. I already miss the previous system's fast-paced cancel-combo style, but I suppose I can just play -that- one if I miss it too much.
Why don't they ever add frieza's 3rd form lol
This one:

Think it was added like once?
...The form has been in every fighter so far. Don't see why they wouldn't add it
Frieza's third form has been in since at least Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and hasn't not been in since. Its always his super-speedy-attacking, beam projectile form. Lots of tail spins, quick stabs and beams.
Holy shit , yes.
I hope it has a deeper character customization then what the video shows off. All the characters in it just looked like palette swaps of other characters.
It wont. What you see is always what you get with these games, for better or for worse.
SSJ4 hair on my trunks? oh hell yeah
Veggie using destructo disk towards the end is customizing right?
MS Paint that shit

I can't fathom what made them decide to switch between skill-based combos to nothing but an entire combat system wrapped around BT3's Dragon Dash cutscenes, but we'll see how fan reception for the game is. I don't think that placing a game that relies so heavily on loading screens onto an inferior system like either console is a good idea (at least from the eyes of a PC player that isn't used to such delays normally), but if it sells well then the people have spoken. This will be the first in the Budokai series, however, that I will not purchase.
