Had a 3 night lan party for my birthday - 1st summer break from college. Warcraft 3 just came out. Dungeon Siege was fresh. Homeworld: Cataclysm was our jam.

Mom said afterwards that a LAN party will never happen again when we ran up a huge electric bill.

My middle school had a pretty robust computer lab that stayed open well after school hours, we'd rock 8 man Warcraft II and Duke Nukem 3D games in there.

By high school we were well into the PS1/N64 and eventually PS2 eras, and just local gamed that way

3 people in a Trans-Am. 3 PCs, 2 CRTs. One CRT + PC behind the driver's seat. The other CRTs could only fit with the guy riding shotgun holding it on his lap and the seat completely back that the guy sitting in the rear was sitting p much sideways.
