Maybe im crazy, but I think the Wings player is going to get 15-20 games.

Also it won't be a fuckton of games because Ben Smith's deke was one of the reasons that Brendan Smith only hit his head. It will still, and should be, a decent length suspension.
Is it too late to dress John Scott for the game?
Im sticking by my word.......... 2 per team, 3 for Thoronas/Isaladar. If I take Malkin/Fleury, I can't take Kunitz/Neal/Letang/Martin. If you take AO/Green, you can't take................ IDK because Backstrom/Semin would both be drafted by then most likely. If Jornna takes Kopitar/Quick, he can't take Brown.
As for Thoronas/Isaladar....
Sedin/Sedin/Luongo all average drafting in the first round, and Kane/Toews are averaging within a couple picks of one another (22-24ish), the rest are round 4+ material and at that stage do you really think the talent level isn't interchangeable? There's only a handful of top tier goalies/skaters, but after the first ~3 rounds, everyone is a 20-30 goal / 30-50 assist player.
The point isn't to punish, the point is to encourage people to become bigger fans of out-of-market players and teams and grow an appreciation for teams/players you wouldn't normally follow. People loved this idea last year, and I'm making it an even bigger part of this years draft.
HOSSA
I think 3 homers that we had last year was fine, honestly too I'd go against loading up with homer picks after last year because of the whole team tanks for a game or two it fucks your stats for the week, but still if someone wanted 3 picks they should be able to get.
I'm not sure if the 'DE-TROIT SUCKS' chants are audible on TV or not but they're the best part of games at the UC...especially on nights they aren't actually playing the Wings
They usually make it on tv lol
Anyone have video of this Smith hit for us not streaming that game? Was too busy watching the Capitals go 0-for on the PP again in Nashville.
I thought the point of the rule was to prevent from people loading up on homers in the middle and later rounds instead of actually drafting guys they think will perform well. I don't need you arbitrarily telling me to root for players out-of-market, I watch as much hockey on VS/NHL-N/streaming and play as much NHL'12 as I want to already and I know what guys I like and dislike. Three is enough to drive the point home, I wouldn't want to go into a draft saying I'm forbidden from drafting more than two guys off of any team, regardless of who I'm a fan of.
