I really like the Muppets, but they will forever be "The Muppet Show" of my youth. The several reincarnations over the past few decades just haven't done it for me. I really want them to be successful but the magic just isnt there for me -_-

Same. But I think it has a lot to do with them actually appearing to staying true to the source and not fucking it up like all the recent films using older property.

Synopsis:

ya this really is starting to remind me of the muppet movies of old rather than "let's put the muppets in a book". SO I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have such a soft spot for the muppets, I never want to see them go away.
