Depends on how good the group you're with is, and how long you want to beat your head against a wall if they're not up to snuff. A good group in WotLK expac could run through Icecrown in about 5 hours. A bad group would be sitting at Saurfang for 3 hours before people gets tired of things and quit. However, this is done on a weekly basis, so 1 hour per day, not counting group assembly time, is about right. For this? I'd expect it to be spammable, or on 24 hour cooldown at most.

1 hour time limit and need quest to enter. Lemme guess 2 weeks of farming faction points or the like to get quest from company then do dungeon and hope chest at end has your loot piece or that you can trade loot piece to what you need. If it's like that I'm out.

Damn. Dungeons aren't even out yet, and folks are complaining? At least give a try, then complain.

At this point, it's just the precedent they've laid up to now. Nothing has been informative and nothing looks promising. People will complain if they talk about 'raids' then they stamp a 60 minute time limit on it along with showing 2 very bland, common looking images.

Serious question, is 14 million gil a lot at this point? I'm to the point where I just want to make a new character on a new server and start over, I'd have to leave all my gilz behind though. I've barely played in 5+ months and coming back in at near the max level feels weird. That and none of my friends are on this server, except Kuro which is never on.

I think making a new character is a good idea and one I've done myself to rejoin my CKD crew from FFXI on another server. With the new changes to combat and instances, the changes they've made since Yoshi's arrival really become quite apparent. I'm still like R20 right now, as I was waiting for 1.18 to start leveling again.

Shuichi since your r21, you've never had the joy that is farming faction points for 2 weeks to do a faction leve that gives you like 5 wind crystals. There's people that have done like 8 faction leves in a row with no drops. So forgive me for being skeptic when SE says quest needed to enter and time limit. At best it looks and sounds like a half-arsed nyazul isle.

I'm pretty disappointed so far. Looks like the new gear is just re-skinned shit. For some reason I thought the JSE would be tied to these dungeons. I keep thinking I'm not setting my expectations too high only to be pretty regularly proven wrong.

Really don't know what you guys expected, lol. Given the amount of reform they still need to do its really not that smart to expect anything thats not going to be cookie cutter content.

I feel like at this point, a strong wind will end this game. For a game of it's age (1 year or so), it's just horrible compared to anything else. We were assuming this time last year that there would be rumblings of expansions or major patches but instead, we get auto attack...

I only hope for one of two things to happen post-patch.

It will be good enough that the forum babies will stop crying after every sneakpeek we get pre-patch, and actually wait for it to fucking arrive before getting all teary-eyed and doom&gloom.

Or it will be so lackluster that they won't even bother checking out the next patch (unlikely but one can hope).

Just hoping you don't have to do the quests every time to get into the dungeon. I'd be happy with a NPC that sits outside giving you a lockout timer and you just pay some gil when it's up to go back in. I can see having a reskinned boss for the lowbie dungeon, but I really hope they don't do it for the rank 45. We deserve some kinda new mob to kill. With the stat adjustments and removal of Physical level, the gear that drops might actually be decent. Happy with the 60 minute limit, the game really doesn't need one 3hr event right now especially when they'll be adding four more dungeons down the road with (hopefully) each having their own lockout timer. It would be cool if I could hop on my lancer or glad and do the rank 25 one, then hop on my thm and do the rank 45 one.

Yeah, the official forums bitching about one hour limit gives me a headache.

Some of them are "hoping" that it's like Dynamis with time extensions. Oh yes. Potential 3 1/2 hours of pure fun.
