Nupe I'm actually pretty good, but yea lets say I'm bad. If you have starcraft 2 I would love to 1v1 you as I feel starcraft is an adequate benchmark of judging one's potential in video games in general. Certain fighting games are as well, as they pretty much test your limits to how you can strategize, react, and coordinate your hands and eyes. Which those elements are essentially the foundation for any video game out there. Although different games have smaller and higher learning curves than others that is the only variance in my opinion. Unless I am forgetting something?

But seriously, you have to be pretty bad at FFXII to even say that's what boss battles are like... I know more efficient methods of beating most bosses even while keeping the characters at level 1(through 3 since only Vaan can even potentially start at Lv1 when fully recruited)
Hell, I don't even have to rotate characters or even use a full party on most bosses at level 1. Like, I distinctly remember completely soloing Mateus with a Lv3 Basch.

Well more power to you as I stated in all seriousness I didn't enjoy the game nor did I enjoy the battle systems. All I enjoyed was watching the battles end quicker (efficiency) with the least amount of effort (effectiveness) so I could get on with the story.(I only made the distinction between effectiveness and efficiency as I don't see how a level 3 Basch could be more efficient in time of defeating the boss than using quickening. Although I'm not going to claim I was a master of that game as I didn't care enough about it to put the effort in it. If you could explain how it is more efficient in terms of time I would gladly listen. I apologize if my claims were offensive as I did not mean to offend just assert that I don't see how they were more efficient in terms of total time spent on the fight.) In the end I just didn't enjoy walking from place to place enough to continue on with the story as it wasn't a game I cared enough about. The only reason I pushed myself as far as I did as I want to be able to complete the game so I could know that I beat all Final Fantasies. Couldn't drive myself to actually beat FF12 though as I got bored with it around half way in the game. Maybe one day I'll give it another shot.

It's ok if your too fat to understand how 2 play . I mean they haven't made a sport out of it or anything, which clearly isn't any sort of indicator Ya'know. I hear they're making wii fit on the new wii device so you won't need your TV anymore though. Hopefully that will help.

@ Alleya I thought we would come to some agreement on the basic elements of any game (and I chose an strategy on purpose as that is a game you would have a better chance at as it is a game similar to Dragon Age being an RTS). I guess I should just start posting one liners like everyone else, however I took this for a serious thread although it is in spam. Just Krye never posts outside of spam.

All you had to do to cheat FF8 was as soon as you get Siren get refine items to life magic. Get Tents convert them to curaga junction them to HP and you walk around with 3k hp really early on making staying in low HP to spam Renzokuken (or any limit breaks, Zell's did same or more iirc by punch rush > mach kick spam).

edit: Oh and make sure you did the SeeD tests ASAP so you can afford tents.

Just smacking Mateus with a Deathbringer would be faster than quickenings but more dangerous, there's another (better) way but I'm pretty sure that it's a little too complex for you since it requires a bit of timing and pretty good positioning (especially near the start or you'll get raped by her the Ice Azers)

Well if you have the Aura spell then by all means spam Renzokuken and Wishing Star. Personally, I just spam Quick Ammo or AP Ammo with Irvine.
