That's just cheating, man.
the best part about 13 was the map feature
you press square and you go "oh look its a straight line lol"
i never played 12, should i?
i played 13 and my opinion was...i guess the same as a lot of other peoples: it wasnt a good "final fantasy" game, but if it was produced by some unknown company and called "bla bla bla" it would have been a good game
or should i play 7, i never played that either but i have it downloaded on my ps3 sitting there crying that i dont look at it during intercourse
7 was a great game, but it's been way over-hyped so just don't go into it expecting the holy grail
Emerald and Ruby will give you the challenge you want as long as you don't go looking up strats for them online before you fight them (they can easily be gimped pretty hard). FF7's not really too challenging aside from them unless you go out of your way to make it so. The story, well... I liked it, but I played it in 1997, I was not very old in 1997.
if i told you out of all the final fantasy games ive played i enjoyed 9 the most, would that lean towards an opinion of me possibly liking or disliking 7?
TETRAMASTER WAS THE SHIT
No idea, but I'm going to post this just because.
which one
7 is damn easy aside from Ruby and Emerald Weapon really. You can break the game pretty easily if you know how though, in which case they're pretty easy too. Fantastic game though!
Guide to "breaking" 7:
Step 1: Give each char Cure-All
Step 2: Enjoy the ending FMV
(throw in the enemy skill materia if you just want it to be completely laughable)
Going to lean towards "like". I see most people say they liked 7, hate 8, liked 9, so if you liked 9 you're likely on that track. Though for me I'm not sure I could like VII as much as I did back in middle school because I'm no longer an emo whiny bitch with an identity crisis, so I don't associate with the storyline as much as I used to.
I loved XII and XIII, I consider them improvements over the old FF, both in gameplay and storyline. Their main issues are feeling shorter, hopefully they can get to making a FF game that takes me 60+ hours to beat first playthrough instead of the 40-45 hours. Though I forget if XIII was only 40ish hours, I know XII was 42/43. FFXII's battle system is basically FFXI done well and the storyline is good...if you get it. Lot of people don't seem to get it, though I really don't think it's that hard to get. FFXIII has the hardest battle system of any FF I've ever played, by far. People like to say "lol auto battle" but considering my strategy in all other FF's was to spam attack, I'm not seeing what the difference is. In FFXIII I'm rapidly switching paradigms, sometimes just to kill faster and often times because I need to to win, so that's harder than other FF's.
This thread warms my cockles.
Did link just complain about game mechanics you have choice on for a game that conforms to multiple playstyles?
Spam quickenings... LOL
