Wilfred
So...this show is about a guy (Elijah Woods) who is trying to kill himself, but fails. He starts seeing things and his neighbors dog becomes a man in a dog suit and things begin.
I watched about half the episode. It was pretty funny, but I was drunk so perspective was impaired. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but without seeing the other half of the episode I am not exactly sure where it's going. Apparently FX has built this up for a while, so they spent a bit on it, anyone else see it?

Based on an Australian show, I believe Wilfred is the same actor as in the original. I enjoyed it so far, but I'm not sure how much of the humor will wear off once you get used to the absurdity of the premise.
-
It sounded like an Australian/British accent (what's the difference, besides 'krikey'?), so I wouldn't be surprised
-
Anyone got a link to the first episode?

All of the previews made the show look weird as fuck. Seemed more disturbing / odd then funny
-
You're implying that disturbing/odd can't be funny.
-
there is uncomfortable funny
-
Yeah, I'm with Katlan. The commercials made it seem weird as fuck. Gonna watch it either way to see if it is as dumb as it looked or if it's pretty funny.

-
I liked it I guess. It seemed a little fast but for the first episode I think it's okay. I'll definitely catch it next week.

this episode was hilarious. the vet scene was hilarious

The show is funny, but the premise is bothering me and is always in the back of my head. How has he not had a conversation with Wilfred about the fact that...hes a fucking dog yet he can hear him speak and sees him as a dude in a dog suit. Thats kinda the first question anyone would raise. Dunno if I could accept that its just a hallucination, almost like a split personality except its in a dog. Plot holes kinda bother me with the whole smoking weed and bong in his bag, doing shit a dog couldnt ever do, etc. Idk. I still laugh, but that sort of stuff is always in the back of my head. Absurd is fine, but hrmm

They call me Lord Null for a reason.
Love the show. Yes ever since he first started talking to Wilfred I've been waiting for them to bring up the fact that he can hear a dog but alas, nothing. At first I questioned the bong part as well but I can overlook it for the laughs. After all, he said he couldn't climb a fence because he has no hands then three minutes later he's jumping a fence.

The scene in ep1 where he attacks the waitress is awesome.
-
I didn't laugh as much at the episode but it was still pretty good.
What did Wilfred put in the blue recycling can towards the end? It looked like a bottle of something. Was it anything of significance?
-
Spray paint. The Indian people in the beginning were upset that someone had spray painted their statue.
