Fantasy Football 2011: Jumping the Gun

Somebodies offering me Mike Williams (TB) and Ben Tate for Devery Henderson. So pretty much he's offering me Mike Williams for Henderson, anybody have any thoughts on this? I'm kind of tempted to take it just cause now that Colstons back Henderson's points are probably going to drop off a decent amount. Not to mention that Brees spreads the ball around so much that it seems like the only reliable receiver is Colston.

Henderson is worthless unless someone gets hurt again so any trade is good even if you just dropped him for someone off FA/waivers

Decker (v SD), Colston (@CAR), Jacoby Jones (v OAK), M Floyd (@DEN), D. Nelson (PHI)

I'm kinda leaning towards decker (cuz orton loves throwing him TDs), Colston, and Jacoby (#1 WR with Andre out)...but as i'm thinking, Nelson's gonna have the matchups cuz Asemouga (or however u spell it) will be on stevie johnson and samuel will be on their #2, leaving nelson with decent matchups in the slot... opinions wanted!

D Nelson is Buffalo's #2... So Samuel will be on him I would think. I picked up Jacoby Jones off the waiver wire since he'll be the go to man for the next 3 weeks but he just doesn't have enough upside to pick over my recievers. But for you, he looks like one of your best options. Is Floyd injured? With Gates out, Rivers really only have 2 options and they will probably double VJax after he stunts like his daddy the 1st quarter. Plus Champ Baily will probably be on him. I say Decker, Jones, Floyd.

Floyd's put up some pretty dismmal numbers too in the past 4 weeks. Your initial gut of Decker, Coltson, Jones sounds better.

Well since they are both #2/3 guys at the moment, I would play the match up game. Nelson against the Eagles DBs vs Cruz against... Seattle?! Go with Cruz.

decker/colston/nelson and i don't think it's close. jacoby is about as unreliable as you can get, and i think schaub still trusts walter more. if anything it's gonna be the arian/daniels show, as history shows that schaub is realllly mediocre without andre.

i'm going with ridley. he played better than law firm last week and woodhead's out this week. plus shonn greene in a "ground and pound" is pretty laughable.

With Mendenhall out for the game i'm stuck choosing between 2nd string RB's since every other team in my league has 5 RB's... Should i use Ridley, Starks, or PIT's back up Redmann?

if steelers weren't playing against titans, i'd prob pick redman over any of those three. the problem is that this year the titans are doing very well shutting down opposing team's stars. that's not good tidings when it's the 2nd stringer who is starting. so i'm sticking with ridley. furthermore, jets D doesn't seem to do well in foxborough.

also with regards to shonn greene vs a bad pats run defense: there's this thing called the stack rating which basically shows how well a player does vs a bad defense. so peterson is like 2nd with 233 over the past 34 weeks, meaning the worse the D is the more stats he accumulates. shonn greene, however, is 4th to last with -95 or something really terrible. point is he's literally one of the last players you'd pick to play well just because the matchup dictates it. i wish it weren't true since i have to rely on him too. fortunately (or unfortunately?) i don't have your dilemma as i'm gonna be forced to start both ridley and greene.

Lol, the Jets run D is fucking awful. Yeah, they held Ray Rice to 66 yards, but even then, they allow a ton of YPG, one of the league's worst. Plus, which team is more likely to be killing clock? Pats or Jets. Ridley is the only answer here.
