btw was looking over some interesting stats, and made me think of the aaron rodgers trade proposal a couple pages back. basically points out how over the past 30ish games he offers the most consistent and most big time games of any QB. furthermore, he will always do well no matter what type of defense he's facing. didn't think to mention it cause that stuff was kinda obvious, but i think it only offers even more weight to not trading him.

My friend asked if i wanted an RB for Colston..

I have Colston along with McCoy, Hillis, Addai, DWill, and LaDanian... he has McGahee, Battle, Daniel Thomas, Michael bush, and Delone Carter... i'm thinking i don't need any of those, but wondering opinions

what other wr's do you have? if you have a surplus i wouldn't mind taking a flier on thomas, supposing he has a good enough game on sunday. but if trading colston leaves you just as bare at WR as you are now at RB i'd prolly just try and gut it out with hillis.

With Welker on bye, I have Austin and White as my WRs. Who should I put on flex, Doug Baldwin or Brandon Lloyd? Leaning towards Baldwin right now.
Also Dallas Clark or Dustin Keller as TE? Currently have Clark in the lineup but he's been really inconsistent for me.

The Colts and the Jets have the same caliber QB running their teams. Keller has been invisible the last couple of weeks, but Mark does look for him. Might not be getting as many targets since the diva WRs publically complained though. The TEs are a coin flip. I think Lloyd will be the #1 target whether Bradford or Feely is taking the snaps. I would go with him. He's bound to catch something thrown his way... right? =/

Feeley's probably more likely to target him than Bradford. Bradford has practices with other guys all year, gonna be Feeley's first week practicing with the 1's which include him, so it's like he's always been there to him

I'd start Lloyd if I had him. He's going from one system to the other, true.. but he knows this system considering his former 'head' coach is over with the Rams, so.. I think it'll be the one time for a bit that he doesn't put up garbage numbers.

@Plow Lloyd, Tebow's #1 WR option last year did pretty decently (about on par to the rest of his season save a few really good games) with Tebow just as he did with Orton. Also.. have you SEEN Orton this year? As much as basically 99.5% of the media wants people to believe HERPDERP Tebow sux, sub 50% completion percentage, 1-2 as a starter in his career, etc, etc.. he's done alright in the time he's gotten and it's just that major love/hate with the kid. Like really, it's crazy how there's so many people who either love him 110% or really, really dislike him/preach that he'll fail.

Anyway.. I do think Decker's gonna do some work for the year. It may take a couple weeks, but I think he'll be okay.

I wouldn't start Lloyd this week. Cowboys defense is really good. It hasn't had a receiver go for over 70 yards this season with their starting corners playing (besides calvin johnson... but cmaaaaan held him to 96 still). Sam Bradford isn't a Matt Stafford, Aj Feeley isn't even a kitna and Lloyd is no Calvin Johnson.

I'm seriously considering starting Laurant Robinson over him, this week.

TEs and RBs have more Rec. TD than Opp WRs. Are you really trying to say Brandon Lloyd is just as good as calvin Johnson, because I don't know of any other receiver (maybe fitz) who catches that ball in triple coverage. Rams likely will use SJax to try to sustain drives with their subpar QBs, but woops Cowboys have the top rushing defense. Less drives = less chances for TDs.

hmm yeah so i gotta pick up a D this week cause of byes.

    i have option of dropping:

    nate washington
    legarette blount
    mike williams (TB)
    jackie battle
    brandon pettigrew
    cinci D

but, basically i can't drop blount, can't really drop battle cause i need him to fill in for bye next week, don't wanna drop pettigrew cause he's insurance for gates, don't wanna drop cinci D cause it's best D available for rest of season and i think it'll get picked up, and don't really wanna drop washington or williams cause they're their team's best WR's (i have roddy/jordy/colston as dubious starters). plus i need two WR's next week to fill in for byes.

i'm kinda leaning towards williams cause he's on a bye next week so there's a chance nobody will pick him up if i leave him on waivers. that said i'm kinda thinking he'll eventually get his game back since he's the most heavily targeted receiver on TB and it'll only be a matter of time. so if he starts posting good numbers it'll drive me crazy knowing i dropped him.

    thoughts?
