Tampa has some close wins and got absolutely crushed by SF.
Detroit has been slightly better but still, I'm not anointing Stafford as BEST QB EVAR. They blew out KC and DEN(thx Tebow) and haven't been too impressive offensively otherwise. Stafford has a big arm and is asked to sling it, so the guy is going to put up numbers. This doesn't mean he is good enough to take the Lions to the top.
Freeman's regressed, but they're still winning and that's all that really matters.
As for Stafford, good for him for starting this past Sunday against the Fightan' Tebows. I'd say if he could stay healthy.. I'd gladly say he's a Top 10 QB easy, but every time the dude goes down, I'm like "Oh god, did they kill him?"
Also this is a Fantasy thread.. not a thread about whether drafting a QB or whatever is a good move >.>
and Detroit's been 'slightly better'? What the fuck? I'm fairly certain 6-2 for a team that was 8-40 over the last three years coming into the season is better than 'slightly'.
While a team's started out fast like this before and fallen apart (Denver).. Detroit has WAY more talent to work with than Denver did. Honestly.. while Stafford may be injury prone, and you never know when the dude's gonna miss games.. what he's done with that team as a QB has been fairly impressive, and having Megatron certainly helps.
I'm not saying Megatron wouldn't beast on pretty much any other team regardless of qb, but Stafford is a really perfect match for him, and I don't think much of anyone is questioning that the pairing is good enough to get to the top. His health may be an issue, it's a bit early to say "oh he can't stay healthy," shit happens.
The real problem is the Packers.
Also, they were 0-16 without him.
Zero. And Sixteen.
That was included in the '8-40 over the last few years' bit.
I love fantasy football.

Especially when the Chargers D/ST almost won the game for him.
Not using the fractional system = fail league
yeah, prolly first and only time i play espn public with randos
I wanted to do a fox/yahoo league but the locals I play with all are on espns dick.
lol
Someone jsut did this trade in my 2 keeper league
Player A Gets:
Vincent Jackson
MJD
Round 8 pick next year
Player B Gets:
Peyton Manning
Round 13 pick next year
Shits getting vetod so fast lol
Edit: Also, anyone worth using a #3 waiver spot on this week, rb/wr wise?
I feel the Eagles already have too many weapons. Shady, Vick, Desean, Maclin. Avant seems too far down the list. With Baldwin, dude is a legit #2 on a team who has limited playmakers.
not that I really make any decisions based on it, but I've been projected to win almost every FF game this year and my current record across the 3 bg leagues is 11-13 ;(
yahoo projections are teh suck
also, fuck you tony romo. Needed 8 more points from your sorry ass this week and how many TDs in how many trips on their side of the field? 1? right, fuck you
def baldwin, not close either. and yeah eagles have way too many weapons to want to go after avant. celek is becoming more of a fixture in the passing game as well.
maybe keep tabs on doug baldwin whenever tavaris jackson starts. wouldn't waste a waiver on him though. antonio brown's another good candidate that'd i'd actually burn a waiver on, but he was probably picked up in a lot of leagues before the pats game.
doug baldwin been gone a while..12 teams, 2wr starter, and a w/r, plus bench people, our league has a lot of people picked up that others dont
