What's up with all these people scared of losing when they are up 50, 60, 70 points?

You can't expect both of those players to have a career day. The Chiefs have fuckin Tyler Palko starting. There are two terms in that sentence alone that indicate a disaster.

So I did some quick math on a few of the trades I offered ppl in one league, while trying to get rid of Cam Newton and posted it on the board smack talk. 3 of the teams would have won 4 of 5 games if they accepted five weeks ago when I was tossing out trades, instead of going 1/4, 2/3, 0/5, the other team would have gone 5/5. My team would have also won 1-2 more games with any of the trades and I would be #1 instead of tied for 3rd with 3 teams. I offered one guy Cam Newton Vincent Jackson and Daniel Thomas for Adrian Peterson and Andre Johnson a couple weeks ago, and again last week but he called me an idiot, would have given him 60 more points in my league this week and he lost by 50. Dude would have been 1 game behind the last playoff spot instead of tied for second to worst team if he accepted weeks ago.

Wish my QB situation didn't suck on two of my other teams though. Had Schuab on both, Cutler and Cassell as well on one team and Kolb on the other.. lol. All injured the last few weeks and they had early trade deadlines..

Did you actually read my post? They would have won several games they lost over the past five weeks alone, not just this week. Instead, most of those teams are at the bottom of the barrel and even if players that were injured, like Andre Johnson, come back and explode, they are still already done and out of the playoffs.

Demo, Judai has the right of it in my book. The trade isn't too unbalanced given VJ's 30 point game every-other-week and Cam Newton being the #1 QB in most formats. Then again, it also depends on who that other guy had on his roster. If his roster had Adrian Peterson, Fred Jackson, and say, Frank Gore, but his QB was Colt McCoy, then yea the man's an idiot for not trying to move one of his RBs for a solid QB and WR. Not to mention, Andre Johnson's injuries always go for 3-5 weeks more than projected. "He'll be back by week 5" means he's gone for the season...

That being said, I know in my own case, I won't trade Adrian if I ever have my hands on him :O Neither would Kurp, that limey bastard.

I should add: I don't take Judai's point to be whether it was a balanced trade or not, just that owners sometimes don't understand how to improve their teams through trading, and just look at names.

I was using hyperbole, but you can't look at an even at best trade and call the other side idiots for not accepting it. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.
