Fantasy Football 2011: Jumping the Gun

obviously i really like LGB's matchup but lynch has been monstrous.


i suppose for completion's sake it's 2/3 with forte in there but i'd have a hard time being convinced not to play him vs KC (4th most pts)

LGB. Lynch has been on a roll, but not enough to bench a better player with a better match up. Seahawk offense is also less reliable with Jackson at QB.

Flex play: Benson vs PIT, Harvin vs DEN, or Knox vs KC

Harvin has been getting the ball a lot in that AD-less offense, although Benson is probably the safer play

I dunno, how's Benson usually play against Pit? Doesn't he normally do decently? Harvin's been on fire lately.

Yeah iirc he usually is decent against Pitt. But Harvin missed a return TD by 3 yards and a 2nd receiving TD by 1 yard last week. He is the Vikings offense without AD.

Win-and-in scenario for me in one of my leagues, I know I'll leave 30 points on the bench. Last week, I lost because I played Jonathan Stewart over Roy Helu at the flex. This week:

WR: Dez Bryant, VJ, Colston, AJ Green

I'm planning on starting Green/VJ/Bryant. RB+Flex is where my real problem is:

RB: DeMarco Murray + Ray Rice are locked in at starters

But for flex, I can play:

C.J. Spiller, Roy Helu, Ben Tate, or Peyton Hillis (or Colston, but RB is safer)

I'm thinking between Spiller and Helu right now. Spiller has the edge because I figure (A) He'll get all the touches, (B) His coach doesn't eff with people by rotating backs at a whim, (C) The Titans are a middle-of-the-road defense.

Both backs can catch out of the backfield, but I think it comes down to Shanahan & the Jets being a worse matchup than what Spiller gets.

Thoughts?


Also, I'm playing DEN defense v. MIN this week, but I can grab SD off JAC. Should I stick with Denver, or grab SD?

James Starks vs. Giants or D. Williams vs. the Bucs? I can't decide who I should start.

I dread DWill but I would give him the nod over Starks (I'm actually starting him if Turner Burner can't go). The Pack throw the ball to the endzone. If the off chance they do run it on the goal line, it will be to Kuhn or Raji (lol). For a Green Bay RB to score, they are pretty much going to have to catch one out of the backfield and take it to the house or bust a Blount/Lynch run from 20+ yards out.

Tampa has given up an avg of 32 FP a game to RBs over the last 5 weeks. That and Dwill has had his 2 bigges fantasy games of the year the last 2 weeks. I might start him over spiller, greene, and gerhart

i NEED to win this week, do i rely on mccoy or do i bench him for DWill, Greene, Spiller, or Gerhart (one of those is my rb2, idk which yet, and possibly another in my flex....)
