Oh nice. How much I win? Back my 20 for entry or was it more?
25
Need 7.1 points from Lynch tonight to win in 20-man playoffs. Shouldn't even be that close, fuck Gronkowski.
In the playoffs in 2/3 leagues. The only one I didn't make was my money league, where I scored 97 points this week and lost to someone who had 154 (only change from yahoo standard is 3 points for passing TDs instead of 4). Goddammit.
man valisk is super bitter in posts now. thin skin
Everyone give me shit for not seeing posts. Thought I'd return the favor.
Spoiler: show
As long as Brandon Llyod doesn't score -9pts I win my first playoff match. Only up 10 in my other and he has Baldwin left, it's a two week matchup though. Fuck DMM getting injured and Felix suddenly being good for that one. Dude had Felix/MB3 as 2/3 his RBs, looked easy...
so now that FF is basically over, i've been thinking about the worst moves i've made over the course of the season.
1. in basically every league, not picking up cam after week 1 and a couple week 2. why? he's a rookie QB who got lucky and there's no way he'll repeat his game 1 performance.
2. not picking fred jackson off waivers in another league after game 1. 30 year old rb who's gonna get overtaken by spiller? ya rite, pass.
3. trading jimmy graham for james starks after starks began getting more touches. #1 rb on best team in the league? why would i need graham for? (fwiw i did pick up gronk/hernandez off of FA right after).
4. either not bothering with victor cruz or dropping him so i could grab gems like denarius moore and jonathan baldwin. why should i invest in a #3 WR who seemed to be a product of fluky plays?
5. not picking up DMM when i had felix jones. after all, what's a backup gonna do for me when the starter wasn't even that great?
who's got better (worse)?
I drafted Patriots defense in two leagues
I drafted Phil Rivers in a money league.
I traded for shonn greene
Trying to decide which "breakout" TE to draft, Lance Kendricks, Tony Moeki or Jimmy Graham. Picked Lance in two leagues, Tony in one(Thank god Hernandez was a FA). Luckily all three went before I picked in the last league and I was left with Gronkowski as the last available TE on my board, oops on everyone else.
Picked up Cam in one league Week 2, same team I had ARodg, only team that I wouldn't have QB issues on. Cam has started once for that team, ARodg's bye week, couldn't trade him for anything. On that note, drafted Vick once, Schuab twice, Cutler, Cassel and Kolb as my QBs. Scuab, Cutler and Cassel all on my 2QB team that is now rocking Sexy Rexy and Sanchize(luckily traded Greg Jennings/Nate Washington two weeks ago for Sanchize/Steve Smith(CAR)).
Drafted DWill and JStew in one league, fuck them both, I now have better RBs from FA pick ups, DMM,Helu, was 0-6 before they mattered though. Had Blount too but injured all year. Drafted Daniel Thomas in 3 leagues also..
insert obvious random breakout players who went in late rounds. Made the playoffs in 3/4 leagues, so can't complain too much.
Bad: Traded away Cam Newton and Dez Bryant for Michael Vick and Gregg Jennings four weeks ago in a money league. Romo's my starting QB, but still, gee thanks, fantasy gods. In the same league, picking the wrong one of Frank Gore or Beanie Wells for six weeks running, now, costing myself two games and ~60 points.
On the plus side: picked up Victor Cruz off waivers in two leagues, Aaron Hernandez in two others, and Reggie Bush right before he became useful again.
Bad: Figured I'd give the Starks/Grant thing a try.
Good: Uh.. taking a flyer on Garcon I suppose? and trusting in MJD.
Bad moves.....picking up vick and deqngelo williams .
Oh and Ingram.
Best moves.... grabbing gronk, and holding onto Percy harvin.

drafted ingram twice. fuck ya.
worst move though? losing by 1.07 and .6 in bgmoney. Would be in the playoffs if I had won both of those
I would have won a few more games too if my score had been higher.
No seriously.
