Felix Jones could very well be an upgrade over Greene, and Maclin could easily match or outperform Nicks. For that reason alone, it isn't lopsided.

No, I wouldn't, for a few reasons. One, I could possibly have both without having to reach. People who reach in fantasy are also known as, eh, losers. Also, I don't know more about football than the people who rank these kids. I'm not a fantasy savant, and I don't get paid 6 figures to do NFL research. I like Jahvid Best more than a couple of consensus top 10 backs, but I'm not drafting his ass top 10, and if you did, you're dumb as hell.

If you think Ray Rice is going to be the #1 scorer in fantasy and he won't be available by your second pick, you take him. Even if it is first overall. It doesn't matter what the talking(writing?) heads say. They do their rankings as a guideline for how they think players will fare. Handcuffing yourself to their rankings is silly.

And before you bring up the draft again, obviously you consider where a guy is going in the draft. If you think Ryan Mathews is going for 1500 yards and 20 TDs, you shouldn't take him in the first round because he will still be available for future picks. Just clarifying before my argument gets twisted again.

I probably (90%) could have gotten him. He was autodrafted. I wanted Felix because I believe he has very high potential (inb4homer), Heady said Nicks for Felix which is nowhere close, and I needed some sort of WR compensation since my WR beyond Top 3 is fucking terrible. I don't think the Jets will present much opportunity for Greene to score a lot of points. Probably should have done Shonne Green for Felix, but Heady wanted to milk me so I doubt he would have accepted it. We'll see how the trade pans out at the end of the year.
