If the Mendenhall owner thinks it will happen, they should be allowed to make the trade. The problem is they should have just drafted him in the first place.
Also, you people you need to stop being disingenuous for the sake of argument when there is a clear difference between "conceivable" and what you actually think will happen.
We should probably just stop because the shit wouldn't have happened if Leroy hadn't been Leroyin' and had just shown up for the draft or set his rankings.
No, as you said, someone shouldn't reach 3 rounds up for a player. A round, maybe, but not 3. And it's perfectly conceivable that Best outscores mendenhall. Mendenhall hit the dreaded curse of 380. Meanwhile, Detroit has a pretty damn vaunted passing game that could open things up for him both rushing and catching out of the backfield, and LeShoure was injured.
This is the point I was trying to make, since this is ultimately all that matters. If I did a bad job clarifying my argument, I apologize.
I am the Commish of my money league with college friends and I have plenty of experience dealing with questionable trades. Like you said, you can only protect against collusion or brutal trade rape. If you try to police Leroyin', it will not end well. You have to accept that some owners are smarter than others, and if the only trades you accept are perfect matches, you won't be having many trades.
No was in response to the trade being allowed to go through. I wouldn't let someone trade a 1st rounder for a 4th rounder, that shit's insane (at least 2 days after the draft and no games or news to make it remotely even). That multi-position proposal, however, probably fair.
For 20-man, I can't seem to get on the draft screen from work.. and its not working well on my phone (no Android app apparently) so.. Fuck work and my lame ass manager who decided to go home early rather than do her fucking job.
last year before the season started i prob would have traded anyone outside the top 4 backs for foster. sometimes a nigga just gets a good feeling about another nigga. i wrapped him up in r3 when his adp was somewhere in the 6s. im sure olroy would have taken felix in the 2nd had he not auto'd
And I said I wouldn't veto leroy's trade, I just said it was lopsided.
What's this about lopsided trades?
people jelly of your shrewd business practices
Ill say
And here's what I ended up with in my big money league.
QB: Matt Stafford
QB: Sam Bradford
RB: Rashard Mendenhall
RB: LeGarrette Blount
RB: Brandon Jacobs
WR: Dwayne Bowe
WR: DeSean Jackson
WR: Pierre Garcon
TE: Jermichael Finley
TE: Tony Moeaki
Flex: Austin Collie
D: Philadelphia
D: Cleveland(playing Seattle on Philly's bye week lol.)
K: Jay Feely
K: Jason Hanson
I didn't want to draft Collie but I figured he was worth a flyer. Ended up getting him in the tenth round. If he can stay healthy he could end up being a steal.
The way I see it, if someone wants a player of mine, they should pay a little more. All I wanted was Nicks, and Felix for Nicks is more lopsided than the current trade.
got 2 pay tha cost 2 be tha boss
