Is it at all possible to get BG Auction pushed back to 8:00 EST or later? Otherwise I'll have to drop out, since there's no way I'm autopicking in an auction. (No crazy Michael bush bids for me!)
Valisk told me you guys were looking for more people for auction draft...I will, if you want me!
But I thought I was going to be the star...
Spoiler: show
Is this the correct spot to ask about fantasy questions for my specific team? Just curious, it's my first time around doing a fantasy draft.
No, don't keep trying. 14-man auction drafts take a long time. I don't want to be sitting there after midnight still drafting when I have to be at work at 7 the next morning. 6:45 est is perfect time-wise. We currently have 13 participants anyway, so someone will need to drop or join before it starts.
I'll drop should it stay at 13, since i was last to join
I took the last spot in auction, will be home right as the draft starts as long as traffic isn't bad.
There will be more one spot since I have to drop out since I can't be there at 6.45 EST. Man, I guess I shouldn't have pushed for a redraft after all. >_>
Well here's my question. J. Finley is a questionable because of his ankle, and I don't have a backup TE, should I drop one of my WR's, in the off chance that he doesnt start, or wait it out? Also, do you see Sidney Rice/A. Boldin being a better choice than Reggie Wayne without Manning?
Here's my lineup
QB A. Rodgers
RB A. Foster
RB L. Blount
Flex James Starks
WR M. Wallace
WR R. Wayne
TE J. Finley
D Steelers
K Neil Rackers
Bench
A. Boldin WR
R. Bush RB
Big Ben QB
S. Rice WR
S. Smith WR
The best TE's I have available are Mercedes Lewis, Chris Cooley, T. Gonzalez, Rob Gronkowski, Jermaine Gresham.
Also looking at the projections, starks is only projected to get a littleunder 4 points, whereas Boldin and Bush are projected to get 14-16ish, despite Starks being the better pick. Probably because of Ryan Grant. Im debating on using starks until I can tell which RB Green Bay is going to go to more often.
They said they were going to try to do an even split of carries on Thursday for the GB backs, so I'd sit them for the first week regardless. As to the TE situation, Finley is going to start, so that shouldn't be a worry. Which Steve Smith is that? If it's the Philly one, I wouldn't have him taking up a roster spot this early in the season, so if you had to drop one it'd be him (it would be the other Steve Smith too, but only if you'll definitely need another TE).
And I probably wouldn't sit Wayne given the match-ups/injuries for the others. He's probably the least questionable between him and the bench WRs, but that's an opinion mostly
I'd honestly play Boldin over Wayne this week. Baltimore isn't going to be able to run, they're going to have to throw it, and Boldin is their best option.
And yeah, Finley will start.
Guy in Volc's league throwing a shit fit now because we vetoed him trading Ryan for Amendola. Shits hurting my brain.
