Hightower
Hightower
General question, somewhat related to fantasy - how good should I expect the browns' defense to be this year? Honestly haven't heard anything about the unit as a whole, just individuals
Foster, Felix, Snelling, addai
Pick 2
They're a solid unit but without impact difference makers. Rubin and Taylor on the inside will make it tough to run and the transition to 43 easier. If Sheard produces at all, it should be a good draft class for the defense, and if not, well at least they're not Courtney Brown/Gerard Warren-level busts. Gocong, Fujita and D'Qwell Jackson make for a good LB corps but they rarely produce big plays. Haden is the star, and TJ Ward is an underrated safety, but they get little help from the rest of the secondary. It should be addition by subtraction by jettisoning Eric Wright though, enjoy his "talents" Detroit.
tl;dr - They're an improving unit but don't have enough of a pass rush or big play potential to rely on. I'm starting them in a few leagues this week vs. Cincy, and they have a soft schedule until week 13 (Pitt and Baltimore twice each in the last five weeks.)
Stafford @ TB
Freeman vs DET
?
Suh might eat Freeman, Stafford's healthy (for now) so I'd take him.
Lions' defense is a bit better, Stafford's toys are siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick, Freeman's are just nice.
Freeman also works with Blount, Lions have absolutely no power whatsoever, so they're running a Gruden's raiders style "short passes = our run game" kind of deal.
Who's is desertigloo in BG Auction? He auto'd the whole draft so probably someone who's already not going to keep up his team, but he needs to take P. Manning out and put Flacco in. Bullshit easy win for Plow =/
Arian Foster rolls in on a golf cart. Likely out.
Blount lol, how is that even close. wtf kind of RB depth do you have that Blount is on the bench
Hightower vs NYG or
D. Williams @ ARI
I'm worried about J. Stewart taking goal line carries from DW. I think both teams will run the hell out of the ball because they don't trust their QBs.
I've heard that Goodson has been getting a lot of the goal line carries in camp. Take that with a grain of salt.
Been hearing more and more about how carries will be split in TB, so ya. Could be a bunch of poop and no way to know until after today. He's also facing a much stiffer D. Gonna stick to my guns with him though. Just thought it might be nice to get a lil' production out of Tate before Foster comes back, but meh.
Why is it surprising that someone would have depth at RB anyway? Especially this year when a lot of solid RBs were falling to later rounds.
Who in the fuck is Blount going to split carries with? Can someone tell me who is 2nd on the depth chart without googling it?
