ok, so im in a 12 team keeper league..we keep 2, and im dreadfully shallow at WR...need recommendation on a trade proposal..

heres my team..

QB: rivers
RB: McCoy, Hillis, Addai, spiller
WR: Colston, Malcom floyd, Lee evans, Sims-Walker
rest doesnt matter...

Do i do this trade:
I get: Vincent Jackson, Round 7 pick, round 15 pick (picks next year)
I give Up: Round 1, Round 4 (picks next year)

I know I have no WR depth, but do i give up that much next year for this year? I can prolly counter-propose something to make it less rape for my draft next year. Suggestions please!

Hell no, that's horrible. I don't like same team QB/WR tandems personally and you would have Rivers/VJax/Floyd. Also, VJax is NOT worth giving up a 1st and 4th round pick. Maybe the 4th but hell no on the 1st.

Yea, im heavily leaning towards no...i forget what i offered first time, think 3rd or 4th for jackson...i dont mind having the same qb/wr combo, esp on a throwing team like SD, but thats a steep price...basically lose my whole draft next year

Just looked, some possible FAs include: Devery Henderson (with colston out might be good), Doucet, Cobb (we get pts for return tds too)

Leaning towards jsut picking up henderson

Both Henderson and Doucet are better pick-ups than crippling next year's draft like that. Also, VJax has sucked every game so far this year.

Gaffney and Armstrong could be solid FA pickups too if available. Gaffney if ppr, Armstrong had several targets by Grossman. I would expect Lee Evans to do better, not sure why he was barely targeted by Flacco and I didn't watch the Stl/Phi game so idk why Sim-sWalker did nothing but I assume it had something to do with Aso/Asante/DRC.

VJax sucked every SINGLE game this year?

Definitely do not give up a round 1 and round 4 pick for VJax, a probable starter, and.. a bench player. I took MJD in my Round 1 (Brady Round 2 <3), and Bradshaw round 4. Round 7/15? Ben Jarvis Green Ellis (who's not even starting for me) and Roy Helu (who's..also obviously not starting)

Your draft wouldn't just be ruined.. it'd basically lock you out of the running for a top spot, lol. I'd just grab Henderson. He's a good all or nothing guy.. and with Colston out, you'll get a few weeks worth of stuff most likely, at least until Lance Moore comes back. Maybe even see if you can stash Lance Moore somewhere. Lee Evans may be a complete bust, sadly. I've got him on one of my teams. 4 targets, two downfield.. nothing to show for it. Maybe look into Armstrong from Washington for sure, or hell.. see if someone would bite on one of the RBs you have.

it's a 15 man roster

i was offered phillips rivers for jamaal charles straight up. bradford sucked week 1, but it's only one game and honestly I expected a lot from him in his 2nd year and with new OC josh mcdaniels who's a throw first ask questions later type guy. But with his poor performance (albeit against an above average phl defense) i'm inclined to move benjarvis from bench to 2nd RB and rivers to QB over bradford.

Right now i have fitz and wallace at main and plax at flex to rotate with the firm. If i make trade, firm would be main 2nd back and i'd basically have meach to rotate out.

Would you trade charles for rivers if you were me? I'm inclined to say yes as in a non-ppr league charles value 8-15 pts/week is less than rivers 18-28 pts/week on average with the firm putting up 6-12 a week.

After the way the chiefs looked against the bills, im inclined to say take rivers..I'm inclined to say that anyway, as I'm now heavily biased since this is year 2 of him on my team...plus he's gnna be MVP, which is nice to brag about. Plus, now you can try and turn around and trade bradford

Not sure if I'm the best person to ask as I *hate* Charles this year, since I think the Chiefs could be very awful.. and your RB situation would be muddled with losing out on Charles, even if I think he won't be near what he was last year.. so it's up to you. I think Rivers could be elite, though.. so it's all up to you. If you can somehow get ahold of another RB, maybe lesser than Charles.. that'd work, but I think I'd do it.
