4-2 here. Close loss to Zeb in IDP and lost due to Welker + McFadden owning me tonight in 20man. Other leagues I'm cool in though

You know that Buffalo team that the Chiefs played over the weekend that beat them 41-7.. in their place with a packed crowd? Gave up nearly 5 yards a carry last year, lol. Charles had 10 rushes/56 yards, so 5.6 isn't anything to bang on.. but I have a feeling they'll be behind a LOT of games this year.
Like I said though.. he's gonna see a drop off and a muddled RB crew if he did the trade.. but if he felt Rivers is a significant upgrade over Bradford, then could actually trade Bradford? More power to him.
I watched pretty much the entire Chargers/Vikings game, and I cannot explain wtf went on in the least.
Rivers threw so many balls so far off target it was just insane. Floyd had like 15 "targets," but barely any of them even came within like 5-10 yards of him, and a lot of the time I really couldn't tell if they were supposed to have been catchable or were intentional throwaways.
The Chargers' d was pretty sick from about midway through the 2nd quarter to the end, though.
Also Matthews seemed to be in the doghouse, I know Tolbert is a TD thief and all but it wasn't even just stuff like that, Tolbert was in there with plays designed to go to him on big 3rd and longs and shit.
Yeah. Pretty fluke-ish in terms of Rivers' accuracy, though. He's generally better about that. I'd still pencil him in as having a good season this year, though. I still like the idea of selling on Charles as quick as you can to pick up a better QB and flipping Bradford for something. That's what I'd do anyway.
Chiefs have the lions next week, so if you want to do it soon you need to do it like right now.
However, they have Chargers, Vikings, and Colts weeks 3-5. He could be looking like a top 2-3 back after the Colts game, that's when I'd probably be aiming to move him if I had him anywhere.
He has a couple more easy games after that, but he also has Pitt, Pats, Bears, Jets, Pack, and Raiders twice from week 6 on, so if you can get really nice value for him after the Colts game I'd do that for sure.
Fucking Janikowski. Lost 106 to 107. Should have started Steve Smith over Hines Ward, but who knew Newton would set a rookie passing record and Smith would explode for 33 fantasy points (in my league)? Damn.
I took the trade. Thanks for the thoughts. I agree that charles is going to see a big drop off this year as the chiefs are looking pretty bad and rivers is an enormous upgrade.
This is a non ppr league so charles is that much less valuable and I think that I can probably trade bradford/jarvis and maybe someone else to get a rb2 that'll be more consistent than jarvis.
Thanks,
lol @ my RB situation.
Steven Jackson is gonna be out.
So I need 2 starters:
Cedric Benson @ DEN
Shonn Greene vs JAC
Ben Tate @ MIA
Cadillac Williams @NYG
If only you had felix
Sproles for nicks
I'd be more confident in Benson if Dalton were starting. Because Gradkowski could give the game away.
I'd be more confident in Greene if he didn't get eight fucking carries last game.
Berry is out for the year...
Think Steelers without Polamalu or Ravens without Ed Reed... if they were shitty defenses even with them.
i.e. play anybody you have that's against the chiefs, and watch for some bigass games from chiefs receivers
I'm in two cash leagues. Played Tom Brady in both. Ugh.
Started Arian Foster on three teams because he was still considered likely to play before I teed off.
Stupid Browns screwed me on Eliminator.
The Beavers are terrible.
The Seahawks are almost as bad, but probably not Andrew Luck bad.
Football season's off to a rousing start out here in Byrdland.
Fuck mcfadden + marshall...was up 27 going into last night, lost by 2
