For those that watched the NE/SD game, why was Antonio Gates held to 0 points?

He played until the 3rd or 4th but he looked off, wasn't running well at all. Couldn't get open as a result, and eventually they took him out and showed him talking to a trainer on the sideline.

Picked up Cam Newton last week on one of my teams. Who would have thought I should have started him over Rodgers. Looks like that team will still win but it would be nice if Turner could pick up some big points.

Really need Vick to keep sucking but need Roddy White to blow up at the same time. Barely winning one game where I am playing Vick and another where I have Vick and White playing, lol. and man Pettigrew has sucked two straight weeks when the Lions blew teams up.

He was shut down. If he played actually hurt he would have been taken out sooner. They made it a point to cover the shit out of him.

They did a good job with him, but I think the injury played more of a factor than the NE defense.

too many innings for hurt. He was a nice distraction still, but I think he would have had a bit more looks over 3q's. It was a mixture of both, and I'll even lean to the injury in this case, but the one thing they did well this game was sit on his face.

Speaking of Cam and Homerisms, someone trying to play on my homer with a trade.

I'd get:

CAR S.Smith / A.Foster

They'd get:

Brady / Mendenhall.

I have Cam riding the pine. #1 and 2 QBs. Got Welker/BMarsh for my starting WRs.

Not even close to enough of a homer to take that kind of trade. Foster's hammy is all funked up again and as great as Cam has been, Brady has been on fiaaaaa.

Last time I drafted brady, he went out for the season. Since I'm a pats fan, I won't take brady ever again.

Come to think of it, I had welker the year he got hurt, but it was later in the season.
