rawr. i love my team in this semi weird scoring system BG league. i absolutely loved my draft and got almost everyone I targeted.

im wondering though...this dude in the league just tossed up Arian Foster on the trade block, mainly because his team has a plethora of serious holes. I happen to have somewhat lucked out in my depth, with Addai being respectable, Thomas Jones now a #1 RB after the injury to Charles, along with two legit starting QBs and three great WRs after Steve Smith re-entered the realm of relevancy.

This is the dudes team.

Any thoughts on potential trade bait? Theres absolutely no way I part with MJD or McFadden at this point in time, but I am obviously intrigued at the prospect of adding Foster for the right price. I have the depth to be patient with him, he doesn't.

I wouldn't bother going hard after Foster since you have MJD and DMC, but if you do decide to go after him, you might want to try to move with Thomas Jones quick. Dexter McCluster is a lot more similar to Charles than people realize, I honestly won't be surprised either way, if Jones stays number 1 and gets a thousand yards, or if they try leaning on Dexter and Jones stays at 10-15 touches.

even if you are adamant about keeping mojo and mcfadden, if you somehow trade for foster without trading mojo you have a lot of wasted value on the bench because you don't have 3 RB slots. so unless you're positive you can get rid of mojo later for a clear upgrade at one of your other positions, i'd just try to turn him and another player into foster. IMO getting a couple good 2-for-1's done is the best way to ensure success.

personally i don't really trust mojo, so if i were you i'd toss mojo/lloyd (and w/e other bench junk he wants) at him and try to pick up ben tate in the process.

i've lost so many games in so many dumb ways the last few years that this one isnt even as depression to me as it should be.
lost a championship game on a playoff seed tiebreaker in my main league before, leading by 1 schub throws a pick for -2 on the final minute of a game in another D:

lost one game by 1 point, lost another by .74 points... not sure how I lost the first, was tied when I went to bed and they didn't post a stat correction. Other was lost on a sack in that final pathetic 3 and out by STL...

Doing a joke draft starting week 3 with some friends. Editing my predraft rankings, would like some opinions on how you would rank for a draft starting week 3.

This is what I have so far for my top 7:

Ray Rice
Rodgers
Mendenhall
LeSean McCoy
Tom Brady

I took into account who they are playing week3 as well as some other things. Kinda weird drafting this far into season, what would you guys do?

It's a 10man league using NFL.com's default point set up I believe.

Don't really see anything tempting. I wouldn't mind snagging Forte, but it's not pressing enough for me to give up the Newt.

One thing I've never understood in fantasy...falling in love with players that will bench ride for 15 weeks. If you have Tom Brady, you aren't staring Newton unless Tommy is on a bye week.

Not that I'd actually give up forte for a two week wonder, but you honestly wouldn't trade newton as a backup for Forte? You really have that much of a hard on for stacking up bench points that you'd turn down a starter? I will ride the unflappable Joey Flacco to the playoffs before I trade a starting RB for Newton.

Can just be nice and say it's me lol. Early draft rounds went horribly for me, main things I wanted were Hakeem and Foster, and that Foster injury screwed me these first few weeks. He'll obviously recover and do well when he does point wise but figure I'd throw him up and see if I get anything that'll patch me up in the other areas. RB's are awesome in Jeid's league.

Only offer I've gotten so far is Foster for Santana Moss and Pierre Thomas
