Around here, the edge comes w/ the cut or you can get an edge on its own w/ no cut. You don't have to pay for both though and you don't get a reduced price on a cut if you don't take the edge with it.

Once a month or month and a half for me. It gets harder to deal with and looks worse each week I delay it. Not that its hard to deal with or looks bad, though. A friend cuts it fairly well for 7€, family price.

Well, assuming he gets at least 1 customer an hour, that's 10 dollars an hour. I'd say it'd be very easy to beat out a business where most of the money goes to the business and not him, provided he has a decent number of customers.

yeah, his gf brings him a ton of females for him to cut hair, too. but i was always under the assumption they made a % of whatever tip the other barbers made + the hourly wage. i dont think it would be as low as waitresses or busboys, but more along 9-13/hr? but than again, maybe they DO make as little hourly wage as waitresses or busboys, lol. i have no idea

Where he works, a male cut is 12 €. Out of that, he would get 5€ plus the tip, if there was any.
