It is 100% true. I have to wonder if the companies making these games fully understand or intend that the players will just shit all over it in any way shape or form.

EVE Online griefing and drama is probably top tier in regards to MMO griefing and drama. I don't play anymore but the shit that goes on there is fucking astounding and hilarious.

Thing is, it's no longer game for such an individual.

The Ultima Online one is the best. I got a good laugh outta that one. I don't even feel bad XI got no representation, XIV alone could fill a dick move list.

Only megaton-level drama I remember from BG (was never a part of KI so my perspective is quite limited) were things like Navvii QM'ing a ridill, Marx breaking alliance post-nid so a crybaby BRD couldn't get e.bd and random HNM CFH/holding drama. Doesn't really compare. Of course you could look at dick moves external to the game itself (e.g. ganiman taking the money and running, the continued adventures of Taj/Killuminati/RustyMetal) but such maneuvers only seemed to effect corporations rather than individual players.

the article actually reminded me that as much as people forget it, FFXI is just an Evercrack Clone.

I remember the shit involved with Kerafyrm back in the day. And somehow SE thought it was a good thing to repeat it starting with AV.

This so hard. That was an entertaining article as all hell. I kind of expected the WoW glitch where that one mob was hacked out of his dungeon and killed everyone in Stormwind (at least I think it was Stormwind) would have made the list, because that was pretty lawl.

So what would be the top ones in FFXI? Lolsash and Taj's hacking spree would be pretty high up there.
