Google already has games setup in the Chrome web store, not facebook-style, but the setup is there. Only time will tell how they merge things.

So for those who got invited, but haven't been able to register, there is a Python script that opens your invite link (the URL the 'Learn More' button takes you to) in a new tab:

Ran this yesterday and got in about 2hrs on an invite sent to my alt account. Seems to be taking longer though today (started at 8:30am, now 2:20pm) for my main one. Need to head out, but I'll try and assist with invites once I get back.
