Hey all, a few days ago I was browsing and all of the sudden my screen turned black, then went to the Windows "auto-fix" process. It's done this twice before and the issue has been solved, but this time it says the problem cannot be fixed and then it shuts down my laptop. Does this sound like a hardware of software conflict? Could using the factory reset disk fix this issue? If I could reformat, would I activate the disc via BIOS? (I'm out of town at the moment so I can't try this out myself)

There had been some overheating issues if running a game on max, but I haven't done that in over a month. I have an Asus G73J laptop if that helps. I'm not incredibly familiar with computer issues like this so please bear with me!
