Im glad they are making it very bad to gank lower level players, thats always been a problem in games, that one asshole who stays in the low level zones and 1shots noobies. apparently it was a problem during CB2 with people going to get their mount

For Canadians, EB Games has an SKU for physical CE now. Took them friggen' long enough, to the point where I'm contemplating if I even want it now over a digital copy for $20 less...

The digital is less cause you're only paying for the in game perks, whereas the phyisical you get like.. extra maps and books and the box and stuff (don't remember exactly)

The soundtrack sold me on the Physical CE; it's a new hobby that I somehow ended up starting recently. Plus the map being a cloth map is an additional bonus.

Go to the official forums, read 1-2 threads.... you'll want to get some distance from Tera and its playerbase for at least a couple of hours.

Edit: On an unrelated note, I found a post by an EME employee in the Tera Answers thingy about bots :

I think there would be an issue with botters finding quick work arounds if they explained how they were going to take on botting. At least this way the botters will have to take more time to find workarounds.

Wouldn't botters be able to figure it out, regardless? They should be able to speak about it vaguely enough, if they're actually doing something. I think it's more than a bit concerning that all they've really said was "we'll deal with it." People were botting within a week in K-TERA, right? :/

You never want to give out your battle-plan, to the enemy, as it just gives them a leg up on fighting back. Hopefully, they will have people pursuing the servers, for the obvious bot behavior. Combined with Chrono scrolls, to fight off gold farmers, we could see TERA fairly bot free, as most bots are there, to farm the gold, that is then sold to players.

This scared the heck out of me earlier. I've been randomly opening the TERA launcher all week to see if there have been any updates. Earlier today, I opened it and went to log in and got an error saying my account didn't have the privileges and paniced. Then I looked it up and realized, oh.. ok. Most likely they're putting the download up right now and it's causing the errors... I hope.

Just downloaded and applied the patch in under 15 seconds. Unless there's another quick emergency patch before tomorrow, I'm good to go!

I have been trying to download the game for 5 hours now and after i restart the client the download slows to 60kb/sec or less after about a minute. Anyway around this? -_- tried it with p2p on and off etc.
